Question regarding gear

Hello all, may be a silly question, but I've noticed in the last two engagements everyone was wearing battle armor. Is there basic battle armor that you should use to RP in during initial combat? As a Jedi Padawan I would assume I should only have access to limited armor, at least initially. How does one go about obtaining armor? Do you RP gaining armor somehow or do you RP purchasing it? Are you rewarded it? Can you basically start adding armor to your story line as you RP somewhat at your own discretion?

I'm simply curious about this, as I've been involved in two recent invasions and am preparing for the inevitable next battle I find myself in!!

A: Nope.

Q: As a Jedi Padawan I would assume I should only have access to limited armor, at least initially?
A: The Jedi Order does not supply Armor Solutions to their members. The Military provides a basic Tier 8 set to their soldiers. This is found in the Armory Manifest under Resources.

Q: How does one go about obtaining armor?
A: Through RP or the Marketplace.

Q: Do you RP gaining armor somehow or do you RP purchasing it?
A: See above.

Q: Are you rewarded it?
A: Almost never.

Q: Can you basically start adding armor to your story line as you RP somewhat at your own discretion?
A: Yes. Personal wealth and equipment is unlimited and always acquired via RP. Some member even submit Technology Submission to the Factory to create custom armor for their characters.

No, padawans could before requisition MK IV Gungnir armor but only one suit is left around I believe.

Rps to find/create it, requisition from armory, buy from marketplace

Same as above

Yes armor was given as rewards for previous invasions

Ah. I suppose I should mention that anything from Movie or EU canon, found on Wookieepedia, can be used or acquired at your own discretion. So your character can choose BOTH from the Factory, Marketplace, and Wookieepedia. (This includes the Jedi Expeditionary Suit)

Actually [member="Sam Jhovna"] we made a MK II suit for the jedi about a month or so back. Since the canon uses restricted materials
