HEIGHT: 5’11
WEIGHT: 170lbs

HAIR: Brown

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
[+] Wings: Quill is an excellent pilot, from freighters to starfighters. While he prefers to fly the RZ-1 A-wing, he’s also somewhat comfortable in a T-65 X-wing, should the need arise.
[+] Loyal: He’ll be there for you, no matter what.
[+] Chef: Quill has a knack for cooking, something he undoubtedly picked up from his mentor.
[-] Martial combat: Under Aida’s tutelage, Quill built a strong foundation in the ways of the Force, but his martial skills with a lightsaber are perhaps not on the same level as those the same age as him.
[-] Naive: Having lived a sheltered life on Lirra, he’s rather unaware of a lot of galactic happenings - he’s a bit more ‘book smart’.
APPEARANCE:
Quill is of average height with a slim, athletic build. His most striking feature are his icy blue eyes, but they’re likely to be smiling at you rather than staring you down. Short brown hair can be seen usually tussled or matted down by a fighter pilot helmet. He usually has on more casual Jedi-esque clothing when not in the cockpit, and a full flight suit when he’s ready to fly.
BIOGRAPHY:
Quill was born on an unknown world to unknown parents. As a young boy, outside of the realm of Quill’s memory, he was sold to the Hutts in Wild Space. Soon after, he was rescued by a small team of Jedi, led by the enigmatic Jedi Master Aida Aquila. He was brought to Serenity’s Reach, a safe haven for freed slaves where they could recover from their trauma and eventually move on to a new life.
Typically, children rescued are moved on to another safe house where they can eventually be adopted. However, sensing a spark of Force sensitivity in the young boy they had rescued, Aida chose to keep him at the Reach and train him in the ways of the Jedi. From then on, the boy was called “Quill”, derived from the name of the woman who rescued him - Aida Aquila.
Quill’s life at the Reach was much more happy and carefree than his life would have been had he stayed in the meaty grips of the Hutts. He was not on a strict training regimen, but was given small lessons here and there, building a foundation of understanding about the Force rather than being taught specific techniques. Quill eventually found himself fitting right in at the Reach, taking on the role of an older sibling to the children that would temporarily come through, and helping out where he could.
In his early teens, he discovered a love of flying after briefly taking the controls of a transport on a small excursion to the other side of the planet. Since then, he was in a cockpit as much as he could, eventually becoming the wheelman for the missions to free slaves.
With some of the missions becoming more and more dangerous, Quill began to look into piloting starfighters in his later teen years. After managing to buy an old RZ-1 A-wing, he would help cover transports and freighters on rescue missions, intercepting Hutt starfighters and bombers that would otherwise threaten their operations.
Knowing that the galaxy at large could use more Jedi, and more starfighter pilots, Quill decided to temporarily leave the Reach in order to volunteer his services elsewhere.
