The Pilgrim
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
- Intent: Quill's house on Pagodon, move-in circa 872 ABY.
- Image Credit: Screencap from The Mandalorian, S1E1, mildly modified by me
- Canon: N/A
- Permissions: N/A
- Links: Pagodon
- Structure Name: N/A
- Classification: House
- Location: Pagodon in the Scar Worlds, outskirts of Ferryman's Reach, within walking distance of the public house
- Affiliation: Jend-Ro Quill
- Accessibility: It's a nondescript house at the edge of a nondescript town on a nondescript planet. Quill is literally allergic to company but will make exceptions.
- Description: Like many houses in Ferryman's Reach, this one was prefabricated offworld and assembled on-site many years ago. It's the kind of residence you'd find on any given frontier world.
- Quill's room, off-limits.
- Tilon's room, off-limits and rarely used since Tilon's knighting.
- A guest room, sometimes used by folks like Cotan Sar'andor , Tiland Kortun , Romi Jade , or Auteme .
- A simple kitchenette.
- A training room (essentially just a room), containing training tools like Jakku Chimes.
- A small and cozy library full of alien books. (Secretly, Quill is a Keeper with the Order of the Selab, and his private library serves that function.)
- An Incom U-Wing parked out back on the ice — a getaway/errand vehicle if needed, but usually just serves as an extra bedroom or a storage shed.
None. The library's translation droid will scowl at you in a disappointed way, and a ravinak might eat your spaceship, but that's about it.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Quill left the Jedi in 869 ABY and stopped drawing on his Jedi Requisitions Package stipends immediately. He shoved the last dregs of his funds in a savings account and went back to his hermitage — the Hoth enclave. In 872 ABY, he found he needed to set up a second home closer to various duties and humanitarian efforts in the Scar Worlds. He spent the last dregs of his savings on a house at the edge of Ferryman's Reach, and gradually transferred over the alien library he'd acquired on many pilgrimages. Though the Hoth enclave would always have a special place in his heart, the house on Pagodon became Quill's primary home.
The house is reasonably easy to reach from the landing fields on the ice, or on foot from the public house in town. It gives Quill an optimal balance of solitude and more solitude.
