Biography Part One

The Jedi Temple was a melting pot of knowledge and training between many races. No one seemed to mind one of the young librarians as she worked. A young woman with long brown hair and hazel eyes often seemed to keep to herself. However, whenever a youngling or Padawan came into the library, she was happy to help them.

Her name was Abigail. She was slim but not unhealthy. Her appearance was not one that was overly noticeable nor displeasing to the eyes. She always kept close to the archives but would venture out to watch the young jedi learn about their futures and their past. It was during one of these ventures that her life changed.

An older padawan was causing a ruckus in the temple. His desire to read the darker tomes had caused distress among the other librarians. Abigail tried to go to help the situation. She had never felt so unsafe in the library as she did when he withdrew a blade and ordered her to take him to the archives.

Here she watched in horror as he began looking through the documents on the sith. However, his time there was short lived as Jedi and Guards came in. The padawan used her as a shield until he was at a safe enough distance before force throwing her at his pursuers. Abigail hit one of the guards and the rest raced after the padawan.

The guard immediately checked her over for injury before helping her home. She had sustained minor bruises and suffered from shock. The guard felt too guilty to leave her and offered to stay the night. The next morning Abigail found herself looking at the fair haired guard, Damien. He turned and smiled, offering to take her out to get something to eat.

She was entranced by his ocean blue eyes and his concistant need to make sure she was alright. Agreeing to the meal, they spent the entire morning talking. Unable to find himself away from Abigail, Damien asked for a second date. He was more than ecstatic to learn that she had said yes.

The two continued their courtship for a few years. It was on the anniversary of him saving her in the temple that he got down on one knee and proposed. Abigail nearly fainted in glee as she said yes. After a year, the two married and officially started their path down a new road. Neither were as excited as they would be soon.

It was within their second year of marriage that Abigail found herself with child. She found herself unable to hide this and immediately went back to the Jedi Temple to tell her husband. The both of them shared a tear filled moment. Abigail not long after retired from the temple to focus on the new life that she carried.

Nine months later in their home, Abigail went into labor. It was a painless birth that took only six hours. Their son, Quintin, was born near sunset. As Abigail held her son, she smiled happily looking at his eyes, often believing them to look just like the sea water at dawn. Damien and Abigail had something new to look forward to.

Damien was extremely proud to have a son to carry on his name. He would return home as early as possible every night just to see his son and teach him. His love for his son was only equaled to his wife. While she did the housework and care-taking during the day, Damien made a point to do it on his days off and at night.

Abigail was content just raising her son. She was asked to return to the temple many times to work, but she became attached to her bundle of joy. She enjoyed each day she had with Quintin, seeing him learn quickly. However, everything would change for the family when Quintin had turned just three years of age.

Just after his third birthday, Abigail got a knock on her door. She opened it to find something of a surprise to her. Jedi Knight Zail had paid the family a visit. He had been sent by the council to observe the child in his home. Abigail became wary when she had never heard of the Jedi coming in to investigate.

Zail spent some time in silence just watching the child. Apprehension filled Abigail as Zail finally turned to her. He spoke of the jedi younglings and the clans. Telling her that Quintin had a strong connection to the force. Abigail listened though none of his words seemed to ease the feeling in her stomach.

Zail spoke of how it would be wise to bring Quintin to the temple and be raised with the other younglings. Abigail however stayed quiet. She looked to her son and Zail could see the heartbreak he was causing. He told her it was her decision and that she had time to decide the boy’s future.

Abigail bade the knight farewell before moving to Quintin. Her tears fell onto his dark head, coating them in her sorrow. The boy babbled and after a moment of holding him, she laid him down for his afternoon nap. Her hand caressed his cheek before she turned out the lights and went to lay down.Damien returned that night to find the house in the dark.

He knew something was wrong and quickly checked on his son. Seeing Quintin asleep in his bed, he went for his wife. She mournfully told him what Zail had said. Unlike Abigail, Damien was ecstatic to learn his son would possibly become a jedi knight. Damien spent hours convincing his beloved that this was a good thing.

Reluctantly, Abigail went to the jedi temple with her son to announce she would do it. The child was then taken to one of the youngling clans for further raising and to begin his journey as a jedi. Abigail mourned for her child’s fate and stayed hidden from the temple while Damien worked twice as hard so he could stay in contact with his son.

Biography Part Two
- - - - -

Quintin was taken to a clan home. The group was moderately sized and full of children much like himself. They were various races and all shared a common attribute. They were all tied to the force in varying degrees. Quintin however was the youngest and only human in the group. Here he began his studies to become a Jedi.

The first two years he spent adjusting to living away from his birth mother and with his new foster parents. Being taken at such a young age helped him adjust quickly, but it was still two years before he nearly forgot his parents completely. The other nine younglings helped him learn as well as care for him.

By the age of five he had some control over his force and was often visited by Zail. He was given his first lesson in swordplay by the knight. Quintin became fond of the Knight that visited him. They would work consistently with each other when Zail visited each month. The other younglings paid no mind.

Quintin soon was fluent with basic sword play. By age ten he was ready to begin his training as a padawan. However, it was around this time Zail had stopped visiting. Dishearten the boy continued to train on his own, often keeping to himself. Quintin was not a dumb child but he was quiet. As the months passed without a visit from Zail, Quintin had just about gave up hope.

It was near his eleventh birthday that Zail returned. The Jedi Knight had been away to meet with the council and was given permission to take on a padawan of his own. He approached Quintin while he was training. Offering another class of training, he watched and studied the boy’s growth. At the end of the training session, Zail asked Quintin to walk with him. The boy eagerly walked with him just happy to have his friend back.

As they went further and further from the clan home, Quintin knew something was going on. He turned to Zail and began asking questions. Zail knelt before the boy smiling and told him that he would be taking over the entirety of Quintin’s training. Quintin had passed initiation and was finally on the track to become a Jedi knight.

It was then that Quintin’s training became more intense. Studies of the force and its laws kept Quintin up late at night. He had taken to the books much like his mother. During the midday training, Quintin began learning more advanced sword play. He looked up to the knight and was extremely inquisitive.

Quintin was twelve when he had the honor to see Zail become a master. He was pleased to see his teacher finally obtain a title of great honor and respect. Although Zail was a little less conventional with his training, he still kept to the code. With Zail now a master, Quintin could finally be trained to become a Jedi knight.

As Quintin aged, his training became more intense. By the time he was fourteen, he was ready to get his first light-saber. He was soon taken off the books and into the field. His first task was to gain a light saber crystal. Like many Jedi before him, building his own saber was an important task. He had gone to the crystal caves to find his crystal.

The boy traveled deep into the cave, looking for the right crystal that fit him. Zail waited patiently outside for him while the boy delved deep. After several hours of searching, Quintin spotted a single permafrost crystal that reminded him of something he had lost when he was three. Taking the crystal, he exited the cave to meet with Zail.

The two returned to Zail’s home where Quintin was put into the meditation room. The crystal now in his hands, Quintin began to meditate. Days passed and Zail would go to check on his padawan and still would see the boy meditating on the crystal. After days of meditation, the crystal was finally ready to be put into a light-saber.

Zail waited for Quintin to exit before handing him the parts to make his light-saber. Excited, he spent days taking the parts and adjusting his light-saber before he finally could settle on a hilted light saber. The ice blue blade complimenting not only his eyes, but also his personality. Quintin had finally become a Jedi.

By the age of sixteen Quintin was ready to start his trial to become a Jedi Knight. The trial of skill was given to him by a battlemaster by the name of Xai’li. She took the time to test his skill with a sword while Zail tried to distract him. Quintin passed the skill easily though he did have trouble with concentrating, nearly injuring the battlemaster herself.

Passing his first trial was a challenge. The trial of courage was taken during a mission to one of the outer colonies. A Rancor had been released into a colony by the Sith. Zail and Quintin were sent to handle the situation as best as possible. However, during the mission, Zail had been injured by a member of the Sith.

Quintin managed to protect his master from the Sith and the rampaging rancor. The rancor had not died without harming Quintin badly. Thus passing the trial of courage as well as the trial of flesh. The last trial was by far the hardest for Quintin, almost costing him his training under Zail.

Zail sat with him in the trial chambers and lead him into deep meditation. Here Quintin was forced into the memories of his past that had long since been lost. At first Quintin reveled in remembering his birth parents. His mother and father flooding his mind. However the day he was taken for the clan home tore through him.

Zail struggled to keep Quintin on track, making him face the darkest fears that filled him. After several excruciating hours, Quintin broke the meditation and nearly collapsed from exhaustion. However, the other Jedi masters had watched and acknowledged him as a Jedi Knight. Quintin still had a long way to go, but he was on his way to greatness.

Hello there, as a heads up you will be required to do a formal rank transfer in order to have this character begin as a Sith Lord, otherwise he will have to start at Apprentice like everyone else.

Contact an administrator with evidence of his rank, and it shouldn't be too much of an inconvenience for you.

Ah I was not in fact told that I needed to speak with an administrator, even asking another Role-play Judge such as yourself. I'll go ahead and do so right now.

[member="Z.Heims"] Also, a note that should help you out. Chaos has a system that will allow you to make many characters, and all under their respective names. To do this, simply go into your writer profile (by clicking on your avatar). Then select characters, and add a character. There you can name your character appropriately and post the relevant information (character sheets, posts, etc.) under their name. It makes things much less confusing. Welcome to Chaos.

Thank you, though I intend to keep it as this until the entire thread is done and simply have a name change, though thank you again for the explanation.
