Quotes You Are Proud Of.

RIP Carlyle Rausgeber

"It's all been bloody marvellous..."
I am currently unsure if this thread exists or not and even if it deserves to be here. But bugger it. Here goes.

I know it can be rather conceited, but let's face it, we've all done it. We've all typed that one post, where we go, "Kark yeah, that was glorious!" And we've wanted to share it.

Today, I ask that we share these posts. Whether they be funny, sad, prolific, or provide an interesting commentary. This doesn't neccessarily mean you go after your most liked post. Part of writing is the gratification and liberation of it all, so go after something that you felt evolved your character, or made a difference personally.

Post away. I want to see what you people are proud of.

"Darth Imperia did not have an unhealthy obsession with [member="Aria Vale"]."

The most blatant falsehood I've ever written.

"Sergeant Illarian, *cough cough* I as a final order, transfer command of *cough* the 9th Guards Division, 409th Regiment *cough*, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, Dorn *cough* Company, to you Sergeant *cough* First Class Viera Illarian."

"Easy," Rexus said, "You gotta remind yourself, that we're one of millions who're gonna go out and fight. And that among those millions who fight, we're the ones who are probably gonna end up killing someone who has a family. We'll probably deprive some family of their mother or father, or of a sister or brother." he said, "So, it's probably the Force's way that one day or another we end up getting what we deserve after having killed all those, and vice versa."

One of my favourite quotes from Rexus, regarding how he stays calm on the battlefield.

Atheus said:
"Every breath you take, is a chance to discover what your desires are. Yet every breath you take, brings you one step closer to death."
Asking him what he meant, He told me that I would find the answer when I found my desire. When I found what I needed, or wanted to do. It seemed like I found the answer. And spoke it as well. As though he were standing before me. Waiting to hear.
"The answer is to fight with whatever breath you have, even if it means fighting death herself."

I find a liking to this quote because of Atheus feeling as though he is a disgrace to society, and isn't a real person. Self doubt and all that. But its when he discovers a reason for living that he needs to just take a second to breathe. Been trying to come up with a way for him to do some kind of "Acceptance" arc. And this is where I am marking as the beginning of it.
