The R-wing is an advanced starfighter built by Incom for the open market. The Design featured advanced maneuvering systems (thrusters) that enables it to exceed the expectations of the X-wing models and similar space fighters, making it as nimble as a rabbit with the ability to turn 180 degrees in .35 seconds and barrel roll with excellence. Its two most distinctive features were its swing-wing s-fiols and the gimbled swivel mounted laser cannons. These cannons were able to engage in a 45 degree arc forward facing or if swiveled to rear facing giving the craft the ability to maintain its directional momentum while engaging multiple angles of attack with out having to change course. The meat and potatoes for the the R-wing is its combined strengths of maneuverability and offensive flexibility that give it the edge in space superiority roles where its ability to devastate multiple targets in a single pass promising it a higher kill ratios over most of it's competition.
