Cambry Owens
A Pseudo-Mandolorian. Sort of.
Name: R2-V3, nicknamed and identifies as "Verne".
Loyalties: Previously, Fotos Sprey and the Mandolorian Protectors. Since Sprey's death, Verne's primary and only loyalty has been to Cambry Owens and their ship, the Lassie.
Role: Verne is Cambry's droid and primary companion. He also acts as his spotter, support, analyzer, and occasional good sense. The droid is the main systems controller for the Lassie, and in certain ways integrated into the ship.
Development Threads: The Ryloth Connection was the first sighting in a thread of Cambry's interaction with Verne. His voice module was obtained in between threads.
Age: 17 Years Activated
Species: Astromech Droid, R2 Series
Force-Sensitive: It's a droid. So no.
Appearance: Verne is a very rustic and aesthetic astromech droid, with wood finish in certain areas, a brass sheen to his metal, and an overall old-fashioned look. Fotos Sprey obtained the droid from a collector during a raid, and Verne looked the way he did from his acquisition. (Photo : Not entirely accurate)
Personality: Verne is typically very sarcastic, dry, and observant. He has few, if any, moral principles, but does tend to wryly criticize his owner's choices when he sees them as nonsensical, or driven by some illogical train of thought or emotion.
Weapon of Choice: The Lassie, and it's double tri-blaster cannons, dual ion cannons, concussion missiles, and perimeter defences.
Wealth: Only as much as Cambry has, really.
Combat Function: Verne can control the Lassie and the entirety of it's functions, and has done so for some time. He can fly the freighter, maneuver it with spot-on skill, and utilize all of it's systems and weapons at will. Cambry often uses him to monitor scanners, surveillance, and ship systems. On occasion, Verne acts as combat support, lending firepower from the sky when Cambry is operating separate from the ship.
Skills: Ship Flight, Mechanics, Analysis, ship combat, navigation, tactics, information retrieval and recovery, cutting wit.
Notable Possessions: As it's a droid, nothing, really.
Other Notes: Previously belonged to an illegal collector, who was then raided by Fotos Sprey, who captured and made Verne his personal droid. When Sprey died, his mentee Cambry Owens took ownership of his property, including Verne.
