Appearance: Arfour is a little trooper having been through many excursions with Lan. Since Lan is one to always be on the move and often requires the assistance of this little astro, his outer plating can be described as "a patchwork of scratches and smudges." It absolutely wouldn't be true if someone assumed Lan didn't take care of Arfour, but he considers these as "scars" of sorts. Even Arfour brags about them sometimes.
Personality: Arfour is probably one of the most energetic astromechs anyone could come across. In stark contrast to Lan's serene, quiet, and peaceful mannerisms, Arfour is the complete opposite. Outgoing and full of friendliness, this particular droid has picked up the generous and caring traits from his owner - often dragging Lan into seemingly small things. In stressful situations and combat, Arfour occasionally slides on a cool mask of calmness and seriousness, no doubt intensely focusing on getting the job done.
Weapon of Choice: Charge Arm. Think the little zapper that R2-D2 had. Not enough to knock somebody out, but more than enough to cause some hurt and grab someones attention - works particularly well against other droids.

Combat Function: Arfour has been in more than just a few tussles and fights back with tenacity and determination to assist his owner and his friends as best as he can. Since he's an astromech droid, Arfour is most definitely not capable of personal combat besides supporting allies with his trusty little electric pike. As for aerial and naval combat, that's an entirely different thing. After decades flying alongside Lan, most notably in Delta-7B's, Arfour has become quite the exceptional pilot and can even rival veteran starfighter pilots.
Skills: Astrogation, navigation, and hacking. The first two are skills that Arfour is exceptional at, especially since he's spent decades with Lan and has amassed a great wealth of experience. As for hacking and slicing, he doesn't often face those problems as often as many other droids do but has a working knowledge of getting into computer and elecrical systems.
