Strengths:
Powerful: The weapon is designed to sacrifice more power and gas to increase its stopping power. With its ratios tuned up it is able to fly faster and hit harder. Most standard issue infantry armours may have a hard time deflecting a bolt.
Robust: Like most of the weapons from Rikat Armouries the LR-1 is able to boast a soldier-proof and environmental-proof design. The LR-1 rejects the notion of advanced targeting features and fancy ammunition types to simply be the simple 'warriors weapon' that will never fail when the trigger is pulled.
Weaknesses:
Length: Its long barrel means that the LR-1 is not suited to CQB situations such as house-to-house fighting or ship boarding action.
Description:
When fighting in wide open spaces such as grass plains or deserts weapons need to be accurate and long-reaching. Enter the LR-1 which becomes the 'standard issue' main arm for Rikat forces as they operate in these battlefields. It cuts back on rate of fire and ammunition capacity for accuracy and stopping power. However when Aliit Rikat is required to fight in more confided quarters then the LR-1 is issued out at a squad/section level designated marksman rifle so the clan can remain flexible in an arena where the LR-1 would prove to be a problem at wide spread use.
