STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
+Warrior’s Mind/Body: Having lived among the tribal warfare of the Kaleesh, Rael knows his way around a fight. He also knows his limits, and has rather quick reflexes.
+Night Vision: Has the inherent ability of night vision from his Kaleesh blood.
+/-Honorable: Rael has been influenced by the honorable ways of the Kaleesh. While this may enable him to be merciful to the weak, it also means he will seek vengeance if his honor is hurt.
-Bigoted: Believes the Kaleesh to be superior to other races, often causing him to behave rudely to them.
-Not the sharpest light bulb in the knife drawer: While Rael might have the potential to be a great fighter, advanced technologies are far above his head. Also has a rather poor sense of direction.
APPEARANCE:
A rather tall, muscular being, Rael is rarely seen without his bone mask, an item popular with the Kaleesh. He has a two sets of mandibles, one large set protruding from his upper jaw, and a smaller set from his chin. He has long, pointed ears that almost go above the top of his head. His head is completely bald, and usually covered by a brown hood.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born the son of a Kaleesh chieftain, Rael grew up dreaming of being a proud and famous Kaleesh warrior. He began training under his father at a young age, learning to fight with swords, spears, even some guns. All rather primitive weapons, but Rael practiced them as often as he could, wanting to live up to his father’s expectations. At the age of 18, Rael’s father finally allowed him to participate in his first war. Up until then, all his fighting had been spars.
Rael’s tribe had been having disputes with a neighboring tribe. Earlier that day, a courier came from the rival tribe, declaring his tribe was declaring war, and would begin the attack that night. Immediately, Rael’s kinsman began preparing. Rifles cleaned, swords sharpened, armor polished. That night, as the sunset over Kalee, the battle began.
Dozens of rival Kaleesh rushed across the desert, screaming battle cries. Rael responded just as loud, and charged into battle, sword swinging, alongside his father. Rael quickly engaged an opponent, their steel ringing in the night sky. Rael stole a glance as his father magnificently took on two opponents as once. He looked back to his own fight just in time, blocking a killing blow. He responded with his own. Yet he was much more lucky, his opponent fell with one quick stroke, and Rael moved to help his father.
He was too late. Another Kaleesh had joined the fight, unaware to Rael’s father. His sword pierced the mighty chief from his back, as Rael watched, helpless. As soon as his father his the ground, Rael let out the loudest battle cry on the battlefield. He moved faster than he had ever imagined he could, as if some unexpected force was pushing him to the limits. He instinctively flicked his wrist at one of the three, and he went flying. Rael immediately engaged the other two, quickly striking them down.
Rael turned to his father’s body, the steely clang, and lousy noise of blaster fire still raging on the battlefield. He kneeled, looking at his father, and then to the three Kaleesh he had killed. Rael looked down at his hands, and felt something calling from inside him, he knew what this was. In his native tongue, he promised his father he would search for a teacher for his new found abilities, in his father’s name.
