Tydus walked down to the hanger where he would meet the team he assembled team to do this little raid of there's. He received Intel of the Republics pull out of the sector. He wanted a little slice of this little pull out, and he was planning on doing so. He reached out to the deepest darkest holes in the Underworld to find the best people who wouldn't ask about what they would do. He was even able to infiltrate an individual inside the space station. This planning was minimal, and all the peices were in place. He just needed to brief them and move them into the area where the battle would commence.

He walked over to the staging area where he was to meet the people who he hired. He looked them over and he knew this was an odd bunch of people. An Exile Jedi, an ex-soldier, a Mando, and whatever Ironwolf was, this didnt include his agent on the inside. This was where everyone would meet up and say hello before they went on mission.

He stood in front of the men and began to talk, "Well Hello you wonderful killing machines, I am Tydus, the man who hired you, I hope your trip here wasnt too troublesome."

Ben was not used to working with criminals. He had spent his early years assuming anyone outside of the Order and the Republic was a "bad guy." But, last Ben heard, there was barely a Republic and no organized Jedi Order on Lothal any longer.

What's the saying about the nice guys?

Either way, Ben had felt himself alienated from the nice guys since well before their positions in the galaxy crumbled, and he was trying his hand at scum and villainy. Ben was small, but strong, with a determination and servile attitude that made grunt work profitable for him. Perhaps it wasn't fulfilling, but with no code and no home, a man has to eat somehow. Since Ben was striking out on his own, the raid on which he had enrolled himself seemed a great opportunity to acquire some gear to reinvest in his new career as a contract soldier. Still, his feelings were mixed about stealing from the Republic. Regardless, Ben showed up for the mission on time, and found himself preparing to receive orders from a tall man-machine called Tydus.

Tydus did not look like the kind of individual one wanted to upset, and Ben felt an odd sense of security in being under his leadership. He was quite unlike his masters on Lothal, though there was something about him that was familiar--something faint in the Force, perhaps, or a recognition of another individual of particular will. Ben smiled cooly, trying to blend in with the large soldiers around him, as Tydus greeted the party.

"The trip was no problem. Hopefully the job will go just as smoothly."

Ben hoped his voice was as strong and clear as he had intended, because under the surface he was nervous. Other than roughing up debtors and the off guard job, Ben was fairly new to the world of a blaster-for-hire (or, in his case, saber-for-hire). This was a serious job, complete with rumored double agents and the possible invasion of a space station: Ben just hoped he could pull his weight.

Michael found himself walking off his small fighter, and into the hangar of a ship that apparently belonged to a man he had saw not too long ago. Under the helmet, Michael's eyes observed all the info being updated on his HUD as his drifted next to everyone else. Finally, when the Shadow Legion guy popped up, and said hello, the Mando chuckled. How casual.

A man answered first, someone he had no idea about, but he seemed in some high spirit. When he had finished, Michael figured he might as well speak up too.

"The trip was alright I guess. Mighty fine ship here. Crew looks well off as well. So...is there a plan...or you just want us to jump into this, guns a blazin'?"

It seemed that the two soldiers were staying quite and waiting for the briefing. He decided to get on with it. He walked over to the holo-table and brough up a planet, preparing them for the briefing. "I was hopping for a little more outside help, but I guess you three will suffice, it is a rather difficult mission I'm sending you on?"

He pulled up a galactic map, colors and lines created boarders around the areas nations had claim to. It pinged on a planet within Republic space, then zooming in. The planet grew to encompass the projection of the table, then a small square blink around a station in orbit, then zooming in. A space station with the planets surface grew in size, a domed object with four arms extending from it and a lower arm pointing to the planet. Small tanks of some sort wrapped around the lower arms and a small ring held it in place. "This is Republic Listining Outpost 32-Bravo, Pretty much a junker now with little protecting it," He looked to the other sitting before him, "The Republics pulling out this time next week, and I want the weapons and stuff that these ships are holding, what you do to the Station after the mission is over doesn't concern me, so have fun with it."

He touched a panel on the table again, this time the station disappeared and a black picture of a female came up. The title where the name would have been only stated "-Redacted-". No other information came up, as Tydus wanted to keep the persons identity from slipping to the republic. "This is an agent I have imbedded within the Republic, she will open the hanger bay doors while me and the fighters distract the ships guarding the station, personally I'd like to steal the ships but we we don't have the man power, once inside, get one of my agents to a Republic Transport, he will do the rest, after that get the crew and deck heads to the docked Freighters, loosing some is fine, but a majority must make it to the Ships or this mission will be a failure, the agent within the Republic will identify herself with a code fraze, 'Shadows appear when Lights are Bright', remember it, I don't need a dead agent today."

He looked to the soldiers in the back, "You two will be on a separate mission, I need you to get to the gun stations and reprogram them to fire apon the Republic ships, it should distract them while we make our escape," He paused to look at each of their faces, "Any Quarions?"

Ben listened and nodded. The plan was a good one, although it seemed they were intensely undermanned. As a Jedi whose training was mostly in defensive techniques and saber dueling, it sounded like he would be put to best use in defending the crew on their way to the freighters. There was likely to be at least resistance, luckily Ben's Shien proficiency would prove helpful if they were hit with a volley of blaster fire. Ben smiled, wondering how often missions like this included "saber-jockeys."

Most interesting was this spy. Ben could not place a finger on why he was interested, but there was a twinge in some deep tissue of his when he saw the silhouette, as if he knew the form without knowing the name. Ben raised a hand, piping up before he was acknowledged.

"What are we looking at in terms of guards once we're inside the station?"

Tydus looked at the man, more of a boy really but he didn't care. This was a job they signed up for, getting in trouble was part of the job. He shook his head however, the metal of the faceplate made a scaling noise as it slid across his combat vest. "Unfortunaly no, my agent inside could not get an accurate count, but it ranges from around 50-75 combat capable men still loyal to the Republic.

He brought up the holo-display again, the ships around the station were only escort capable ship, mainly anti-fighter capabilities. He then tapped on a few keys and turned back around. The ship they were on then entered the projection with the station and ships, it then launched fighters and some drop-ships. That an arrow then maneuvered past the ships and to the station, while the fighter turned into a red arrow and went into the lead ship. "The plan is to get you guys on board the station as quickly as possible, while this carrier and the fighter support will deal with the escort ships, we won't be able to combat them for long, so get the job don't quick, of all goes well, this will be a in-and-out job, quick and clean," Tydus paused for a second then added, "Well except the few dead bodies we leave behind, but hey who's counting."

The light freighter, Skorex, slid smoothly into Republic space, the transition from hyperspace, flawless. Not a creak, not a rattle. The wonders of fine tuned equipment. All of the stealth equipment was active. The Republic would never see them coming. The Guild needed some fighters. The Republic had a history of fighters, so Rex was planning on.... borrowing some of them. They wouldn't mind too much. No one would be left to tell the tale. So why worry.
The ship silently pinged. Rex checked the radar. An electronic equivalent of a curse escaped Rex's vocoder. There were other ships here. But they didn't seem to be Republic. Rex connected to his counterparts in the hold.
Shadow, search ninety degrees port. Other ships. What do you think?
Hunter rather than Shadow replied. Ignore them, they are of no consequence to the mission.
But we must remain cautious, and out of view, Shadow's electronic voice responded, the droid equivalent of a subsonic scale.
Rex sent back an affirmative.
He slowly accelerated the Skorex, so as to not destroy their current stealth situation. They would just need to make planet fall. What all 12 of them wished to avoid, was a space battle. The freighter was fine for transport, but somewhat lacking in weaponry.
