Rain from The Sky

[Matsu Ike]

Location: Vjun

The world was desolate and somehow poisoned as Matsu was moving with some of her attention on a number of the things while she moved forward offering a smile on her face. More padawans around always ment they were doing something right compared to ones who judged it in terms of how many served. Just people still wanting to be jedi and help was good enough for her while moving under the metal awning of the partially destroyed castle. She was looking at the droids working to rebuild it and dig into the better parts they could work on. Rebuilding the sections of it so the jedi could use it. While below the mining droids were working to get at the minerals and ores within the planet, salvage droids were cleaning up where it was destroyed they could take. "Harmony when the padawan arrives have him sent to me please." She smiled to the silver bodies HRD that was waiting near the landing pad.

This planet was quiet. It barely spoke, unlike many other planets. Yet there was something that stirred in its core, slowly, perhaps lethargically. It was as a krayt dragon, grand and massive yet deep in hibernation for an undetermined amount of time. The planet had potential to be great, but it was weak, dying, and in need of help. Thus, a new presence had to be established on its surface, and as Jedi Master @[member="Matsu Ike"] made her way to begin renovation of one of Vjun's castles, the apprentice Auron Song was not far behind.

A single shuttle nestled down onto the planet surface. The land was damp from its frequent toxic rain spurts and Auron had been advised to wear appropriate gear. As a result, on top of his basic apprentice robes, he wore a protective hooded cloak, his lightsaber concealed to its side, and thick boots to combat the acidic soil under his feet. He was ushered into the castle, an ancient, long-ruined fortress of monumental stature. It resonated with a strange mixture of energy. The newly appeared presence of Jedi kept the atmosphere sustained and level, yet Auron could sense the unsettling aura of the dark side that persisted to hang silently in the background. As a planet, Vjun had seem much of the dark side in its time, and its roots seemed to sink deep. They would have to purge that energy, eventually.

In the main entrance hallway of the fortress, the apprentice found the Jedi Master.
"Master Ike, I've arrived. What's the plan?"

Matsu was going over some of the plans for the things they were working on here when she heard the voice from the padawan and looked up to see him. Offering a small smile though in welcome before she was motioning and the holodisplay of the rebuilt castle was coming up. "Welcome padawan, we are just looking at some plans to rebuild the castle more into a jedi enclave. Someplace they can be and watch for the darkside in this section of space." THey had been setting some of them up to work on things while also building up reserves in off sites locations beyond Voss and Lothal. She haad more things there while the droids were working on their sections with reinforcements. "It is good to see you here. I know Vjun is not the most hospitable places."

"We are just looking at some plans to rebuild the castle more into a Jedi enclave. Someplace they can be and watch for the Dark Side in this section of space."
"Is there a great deal of Dark Side influence in this system?" He figured that either way the Jedi would do well to expand their reach in order to fight of the Sith and other evils of the galaxy.
"II know Vjun is not the most hospitable places." It's true, the planet wasn't the most welcoming of ones he had seen, and its drudging atmosphere brought about a somewhat slugging mood to the whole place, but he was there for a good cause and along the way he'd be able to find some fun to do amidst his duties. He gave a grin to Master Ike.
"Not a problem, Master! Sounds like it will be a fun project regardless. Where do we start?"

Matsu was looking at him and yes there was a whole lot going on and into the movement of it all. Slwly she took some of the stuff they had been working on she pulled out one of the circlets and presented it to the padawan. "This will protect from the acid in the rain, the circlet creates an environmental shield just off of your skin to protect you and will be able to do more in the galaxy." They had opened and made a many of those for the jedi to use. Though improving upon them was one of the purposes of this place they could work on. Slowly she was going over more of the droid. "Yes this place though is much like a few others in this region. Bastions of light to combat the corruption of this section of space, not just this system. THere are many in this region."

Taking the circlet from Master Ike, Auron took a moment to examine the band. It was minimal in design yet maintained an aura of mystery and complexity about it that could not be described. It resonated with a warmth that could not be ignored, Auron noted as he put it on, and he felt a stream of energy flush across his body like a wave. He nodded in confirmation to Master Ike, eager to begin work.
"It seems we have a lot to do, but I'm ready."

Good, she offered a smile to him while moving and going towards th building. "We'll head up now and see what you can do." THere was plenty of space for them to work while the droids were working on construction of the facilities. All of the hard work they had going forward though she could make up plenty of time while moving inside the citadel of the lower area as the vaulted ceilings held large glass windows. She rather liked the look of it while going towards the lift. "Yes we do have some to do but there is nothing but time for working on things." She could take all the time in the world to train the padawan and teach him about the force here on the world. With only the droids really to keep them company. "NBow where would you like to begin."

Auron dwelled on the question a moment. There was much to explore on this planet, even if it was slightly less-than-welcoming, however that was what they were there for in the first place, for their duties were here to heal this old world. At the same time, he sorely needed to refine his training, for he had spent considerable time fobbing off his classes in the last year and was in severe need of getting himself back on track. "I'm open to what you deem most fitting, Master Ike," he began respectfully. "This planet needs so much done for it, but I feel it has much to offer for my personal training as much as we can offer it in its revival." He paused a moment, and observed the semi-ruinous surroundings of the castle, letting his awareness and connection to the Force deepen. There was an aura of uncomfortable energy about the place. When one really allowed themselves to see and hear the songs of the fortress, and extend their sensory tendrils across its expanse, there was indeed an inescapable darkness that hugged at its edges.
"This place is still tainted, isn't it, Master? It would be an honour to assist in its purging."

Matsu was looking at him as she listened to his offer and working on some of the things. Bringing up the tainted world would be hard while her attention was on a lot of the stuff. Bringing more equipment and pieces from the different research facilities they had been working on. The jedi master looked around clasping her hands before speaking. "Purging the taint from a world is a trying process and something master try and attempt.." She was looking at the different things there while building up some of the things when the robes they had been working on were getting set up. THe looms and manufacturing spaces were being brought in. The artisan's were weaving the robes together and making more of them so they could send them to be with the jedi masters and padawans. "we have been working on ways though to help with it and here with everything it will serve a stronger way to protect and influence." The natural darkside would help with the force augmentation to resist actively the darkside for the ones wearing the robes as they had it working like an assembly line to increase how many they could produce.
