STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Athletic: From childhood to joining the Mystryl Shadowguard Raina has possessed considerable athletic ability, she's fast, coordinated, and fit. And while her abilities may not be perfect, she is still a very capable athlete and would not be one to just give up even against a species normally superior to her. She uses her swift agility and coordination in particular to her advantage, be it by keeping well out of her enemies reach or in just the right spots to attack without being in deadly range, or to get in close but avoid getting hit.
Training:
As a part of being a shadow guard, Raina went through rather significant combat training, although she is still in it, she has most certainly done well in this aspect of it. Raina is skilled in a variety of combative techniques, primarily this is martial arts, something she excels at. However it reaches to other things as well, she's a fair marksman with smaller blasters and very quick at it, excellent at navigating a fight, and is also pretty good at combining a shock whip and a blaster, which due to it's unusual style makes it much more difficult to combat in spite of not being as skilled as other shadow guards with the whip.
Additionally there was some other training that went for her, among this, stealth tactics and becoming unnoticed, using a false identity, and a few other weapons including Vibroswords and hand claws although she primarily focused on her blaster and whip, and only used a vibrosword if she thought there was a chance she'd get into close quarters combat.
Piloting skill: Although not exactly an ace per say, Raina is a sufficient pilot in combat. Having so many things to pay attention to at once is preferable to her so she's good at keeping aware of all the ways she could be attacked or can attack, and finding a way to manage them. Generally she keeps to a survival is key aspect, and focuses on only getting in some shots rather then straight out blasting the enemy and taking fire. Of course, on the downside, she has a lot of difficult flying anything slow and cumbersome as it's instinctive for her to try and outmaneuver rather then take hits and shoot back.
Distracted: Raina may be good at fighting, but she isn't as good at paying attention over long periods of time. Movement easily catches her attention, drawn out speeches do not, long term strategies usually end up going past her if there's something else going on, and unless she's entertained by something or trying very hard, she's liable to drift off into her own world.
Inexperienced: Although Raina may have worked plenty to try and get where she is, she has still not truly been in that many situations which are a threat to her life, especially when on her own. On paper she might be able to figure something out, but when pressed in a life or death situation Raina might hesitate or go off instinct, right or wrong. That is not to say she'd fail on a physical level, but she'd not be likely to figure things out as quickly as someone who's been doing it for years.

BIOGRAPHY:
Fear is a confusing motivator. Sometimes it tells you to run, sometimes it makes you freeze, or it could make you fight. For most of her young life she was more of a fighter then anything else, she loved it, did it all the time, she was athletic, coordinated, and could take a hit. But that's because it was all fun and games for her. Things changed when lives were on the line. When Raina was fifteen that's exactly what happened, herself and her friends were playing a bit too far from home near a forest. After all, they'd done it before. She wouldn't realize that it would be exactly this reason that would save her life.
Late, when she finally arrived home, it was fear that clutched her heart, windows shattered, blood on the floor, family...all gone. Worse, everyone in her nearby area was gone. There was clearly a fight, broken windows, furniture, blood, but only a few bodies. Slave trade. That was all they could assume, disgust, hate, fear, pain, anguish, words that could describe how she felt. She tried, but she never found out who stole her parents from her. And eventually, she realized, she never would. All she could do was make sure if ever she were there when her friends or family were in danger, she'd never let that happen.
It was the Mistryl Shadow Guard that gave her that chance, and, she wondered, the feint possibility one day she might find the people who took her parents from her. She trained diligently with them, determined that any friend she had could be protected by her, and most importantly, that if she ever found the people who stole them, they would not make it away from her alive.

An escort shuttle that is fast, maneuverable and well armed, as well as equipped with hyperdrive, giving it a convenience for multipurpose use. Oftentimes the normal occupancy space is replaced by supplies or equipment, however at times it's prepared to be used to house individuals she may be protecting or allies.
