As a Lorrdian, Raith Morn was taught kinetic communication at an early age. His innate knowledge of how others subconsciously move their bodies gives him a slight advantage in combat, and a major advantage in any thing dealing in face to face deception. (S)
Spending his first years on Onderon and also Dxun, Raith is a prodigous talent in dealing with Beasts. Throughout his Jedi Training, he has honed his Beast Mastery Force Power to exceptional levels. He can command nearly a dozen medium to large Beasts at a time and has the capacity to command such fierce creatures as Bull Rancor and even Krayt Dragons. This is his greatest talent in the force, and he hopes to achieve the title of Jedi Beast Master. (S)
Due to his connection with beasts, Raith has developed a talent for mounted lightsaber combat. He favors riding boma beasts into battle, but he can make due with almost any medium to large sized beast. His knowledge of Soresu has been adapted to keep both himself and his Beast safe when mounted. (S)
Raith Morn has trained as a Jedi Guardian who focuses on Lightsaber Combat. He has devoted the majority of his lightsaber training towards mastering Soresu. When in a duel, he is a defensive stonewall that cannot be overcome by less than exceptional swordplay. Due to his specialization, he can take on much more experienced duelists and hold them to a draw or in some cases, wear them out and claim victory. Additionally, he is a master of blaster bolt deflection. (S)
Raith has a few force abilities that he specializes in. Beast Mastery being his foremost ability, he also has natural skill in Battle Precognition(Danger Sense) where he can anticipate attacks exceptionally well in the midst of combat through the use of the force. He also boasts solid skill in many force based physical augmentation such as force jump and force speed. (S)
Raith is very skilled at lightsaber construction and has a vast knowledge of different lightsaber crystals. His own designs are extremely unique and inspired by famous Jedi and Dark Jedi Warriors of his home planet of Onderon. He uses a Warb Null style Long Handle Lightsaber that can ignite on either end(one ignition at a time) where one blade is orange and the other is blue. Additionally, he has a Lorrdian Gemstone that further enhances his Danger Sense and Blaster Bolt Deflection. (S)
Raith has a tactical mind and uses his resources in both combat and diplomatic situations in the keenest of ways. His trickery and skill in such situations is a point of caution for his enemies. (S)
Raith has focused so much of his time on his Beast Mastery and his Lightsaber Combat that his telekinetic prowess is both uninspired and basic. He can often be overpowered by powerful force users who have exceptional telekinesis. (W)
Despite being skilled with lightsaber components, any sort of large machinery eludes Raith. His piloting is said to be suicide for anyone along for the ride and he can't fix transport machinery or large tech to save his life. (W)
He is considered to be over specialized in Soresu and is not good at being the aggressor in a lightsaber duel. He is a pure counter striker in a lightsaber duel. (W)
Being from Onderon, Raith has a natural curiosity for Sith Alchemy and that is the greatest threat to turning him to the darkside. (W)
He has zero affinity or ability in any energy based force abilities. (W)
APPEARANCE:
Raith Morn is a 6 foot tall human male with an athletic build from his broad shoulders to his toned lower portions. He has light skin that isnt quite fair, but neither is it leathered by the suns of many planets. His hair is mid-length and silver and his eyes ripple grey. He has a massive scar across his face from a stray blaster bolt during one of his early missions as a padawan. He wears Jedi Robes resplendent with black leather padding across the chest and shoulders. He wears traditional jedi leg attire and black boots--standard for all in the order. He also a unique three eyed pendant on the neck of his dark brown cloak that his father gave him.
He is often seen with his hood up. He walks steady and self assured in any situation that doesn't involve flying ships. He is conscious about his body language to an exceptional degree, and he very rarely let's any emotion show unintentionally.
BIOGRAPHY:
Raith was born on Onderon to a Lorrdian Immigrant Mother and a Local Beast Master Father. Between his mother teaching him kinetic communication and his father teaching him the basics of beast mastery, the first 7 years of his childhood were filled with learning how to communicate with both beast and man. It was no surprise that his prodigous talent in both was explained through his connection to the force--something that a Jedi discovered in him while he and his father were on the Moon of Dxun. To a seven year old boy, this incited both excitement and fear, as he had grown up with the stories of the various dark Jedi and Sith who had conquered Onderon in the past. Despite this, he thought to right the wrong and selflessly join the Jedi Order.
