Serving as the counter to Lucius, he forgoes many of the traditional schools of dueling and relies upon outlasting and out-thinking his opponents, and prefers using the Force as a weapon rather than the lightsaber, or even a blaster or other weapons not typically associated with the Jedi. [SIZE=11pt]Calm and collected, Raj is a rock in terms of diplomacy, neither giving away what he views as important, but also as doggedly determined to see that objective obtained. He seems to forgo the airy and universalist philosophy of the Silver Jedi, even going so far as to label the Jedi Code “Hutt’s Hogwash”. In spite of this, he does what is right, not necessarily what is either legal, orthodox, or popular. This of course earns him more ire with the traditionalists, or passive members of the Silver Jedi, and indeed, the Silver Jedi as a whole. Whether or not that will cause him to fall to the Dark Side, or reform the Silver Jedi into a force to be reckoned with is to be seen...[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]As a man who grew up so far away from the protection of the Silver Jedi, he sees the various subsects as weakness. Without a strong leader, without a unifying nature to actually make a difference in the galaxy. Growing up on an impoverished world, and knowing that there are so many like it out there in the galaxy will cause him to often disobey orders whenever civilian lives are at risk, and often is the source of much mischief. Hardliner Jedi will often be the subject of his pranks, or any group of younglings he’s “coerced into recklessness”. To many, he’s quiet, when not snarkily poking holes in plans or stubbornly declaring his own. As one of the more recent introductions to the Order, Raj may need some time adjusting into the new environment.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]Born on the backwater agri-world of Alee, Raj always had a talent for finding stuff and weathering blows that should kill the poor lad. Growing up, he mostly tended to the local repulsolift shop, and enjoyed a mundane but fulfilling small town existence. That was, until someone decided to kidnap a bunch of people and throw them into a fighting ring. Needless to say, this ticked off the young Nautolan, who tracked down the kidnapper and promptly fought his way through the tourney. It wasn’t until he was paired off against a Silver Jedi agent who was tracking down the slaver that Raj met his match. Defeated, but ultimately prevailing against the slaver, the Jedi offered him a choice. Return home, and always wonder what his power could do...or join the Order and maybe find out.[/SIZE]
