INTRODUCTION
The Ra'Katha Armed Forces is the military wing of the Republic of Ra'Katha. Whether it be keeping the piece, defending the Republic's interests or seeking for power, territory and resources abroad, the Ra'Katha Armed Forces is a fiersome and up-and-coming military dedicated to the overall defense of Ra'Katha. Every man and woman who serves in the ranks of the RKAF is instilled with a sense of pride and honor comparable to no other, and the prestige gained by an honorable service to his or her Republic is comparable to no other. The weight of solely providing security and peace for the entirety of the Republic of Ra'Katha rests on the shoulders of the Armed Forces.The Ra'Katha Armed Forces prides itself on being innovative and efficient, not relying on strength in numbers but in strategy, technology and sheer creativity. Those who fight for Ra'Katha know that her enemies may always outnumber them, but the brilliancy of each and every soldier in the Armed Forces will ensure that the Republic survives to see the sunrise. With this ideology in mind, the Ra'Kathan Armed Forces are defensive in nature, best suited to fighting on the dunes and mesas of Ra'Katha. Foreign military campaigns and conquests -- while necessary to the inevitable growth of the RRK -- are a secondary purpose of the Armed Forces. All operations carried out by the RKAF are carried out with the core values of the Armed Forces: Valor, Strength, and Duty.
BRANCHES
As in the case with any functioning military, the Ra'Katha Armed Forces are separated into three distinct branches -- the Army of Ra'Katha (ARK), the Ra'Katha Naval Corps (RKNC), and Ra'Katha Starfighter Command (RKSC). Each branch shares an equal but separate part of the overall responsibility of the Ra'Katha Armed Forces; the Army fighting the battles on land, the Navy handling inter-planetary travel and space warfare, while Starfighter Command rules the air and assists both the Army and Navy in transportation and strategic warfare. As a whole, the branches of the RKAF adhere to a unified hierarchy of rank and the efficiency that it brings. Ascension through the chain of command is gained through experience, valor in combat, individual merits of a soldier and rarely, battlefield promotions. At this time, the Republic allows its player base to choose where they start at the rank of command. The Unqēsaltühn of Ra'Katha, the elected leader of the Republic, acts as the commander-in-chief of the Ra'Katha Armed Forces and is the only person with authority over all three branches of the military. In the navy, ranks lower than a Commander can serve as second-in-command aboard a ship under a rank higher than their own.Rank Breakdown

A rank reserved for those who can lead a Squadron (Army) and serve as secondary command to a Lieutenant (Navy).
A rank reserved for those who can lead a Fireteam (Army) or an Engineering Group (Navy).
A rank for enlisted soldiers (Army) and rank-and-file crewmen in an Engineering Group (Navy).
