- Ejects it's power cell when dry, allowing for an easy and fast reload. A clear gauge on the side shows the weapon's current level of charge by shots.
- An Internal GK7 Cryocooler system means the weapon stays cool when firing, allowing continued bursts of suppression at a high rate of fire for extended periods.
- Standard Scope with x1 up to x20 magnification
- A comfortable Silicon Grip for it's anti slip properties.
- Herdon Leather harness for comfort while carrying.
- This weapon is watertight for subsurface deployments. Because of its Alcomas and Vectinian Silk, combined with the GK7 Crycooler, it is also resistant to most planet side temperatures.
- It's reliable, cheap and easy to service. Overall a solid purchase as a secondary or even primary weapon that won't let you down.
- PLA-CORR Coating and Finish 50% Anti-Corr and 50% Plasteel. Offering superior resistance to weathering the natural elements, scratch resistance and keeping a shine.
- A high rate of fire and high cell capacity to keep up sustained bursts of suppression.
- GK7 Cryocooler system allows for the weapon to be operated for long periods.
- Simple piece of equipment, cheap, reliable, easy to service and repair. It won't let you down in bad weather or hazardous conditions. In addition the blaster is completely watertight.
- A high recoil makes the shots a bit harder to land.
- It's a blaster, a lightsaber can easily deflect it. Even if being a carbine with a high rate of fire makes that slightly harder than usual.
- The range is fairly limited for its class.
- Not many special bells and whistles, a fairly standard but well made piece of kit that won't let you down.
The Ranc Gang were thrilled to have a gun named after them. Sadly they only got a 10% discount on their shipments, which was a raw deal as four of them died to a rival gang picking them up. Such is the unfortunate way of underworld arms sales. Happily it did prove a good way to test the weapon, and the results were favorable for those that survived.
Overall this gun is a reliable blaster carbine, that has a good rate of fire over an extended period. There are a lot of things added for comfort or ease of use, like the anti-slip Silicon grip and the Herdon Leather harness. The scope is nothing special, offering x1 up to a x20 zoom factor, or anything in between. More than enough to spot beyond the shorter range of this carbine, but useful if you are out of range finders or binocs to scout ahead.
A watertight construction, it's temperature resistance comes from an Alcomas and Vectinian Silk lining which is often used in thermal capes, alongside the GK7 Crycooler system to reduce excess heat. Both combined not only allow it to operate effectively on almost all planets, but offer some protection from a Force User's alter environment temperature effects.
One of the most holovid inspired aspects of the gun is the shot counter, a red number ticking down as the cell runs out. The cell ejects itself so you can get another cell in there fast and not slow down your hourly work rate.
At Red 20 the End of the Line bar, one Fire For Effect spokesman and local scholar told us. "Yeah it kills stuff good." We took him at his word.
