DESCRIPTION

A reliable general purpose blaster rifle that prioritizes practical accuracy and portability. Intended for bush scouts, mountaineers, and other people that needed to carry a blaster a majority of the time in the wilderness, the Ranger soon gained popularity for its light weight, range, and stopping power. Certain versions also found favor with pilots and vehicle crews for its collapsible stock and shorter barrel length, perfect for storing in cramped spaces.

Its defining features are the rifle’s short barrel, high output shots, light trigger pull, mid-capacity power pack, and lightweight synthetic stocks that are sometimes swapped for local wood. Other optional features include grips, furniture options, a butt-stock magazine pouch, accessory rails for laser, light, bipod, and sight options, and slings to carry and assist with bracing during distance shooting. Adjustable iron sights are standard in case of electronic sighting failure and allow a decent shooter to still hit human sized targets at 500 meters.

People fighting for their homes soon discovered that this hunting and trail blaster proved capable in combat as well. Powerful enough to penetrate most armors and accurate enough to out range attackers or pick off the bits sticking out from cover. The Ranger Scout Rifle became well known for its power and dependability, no matter the environment or how roughly it was handled.
