- Stopping Power: The highly explosive shell when it impacts cracks momentarily exposing the chemical illerium to oxygen which reacts volatility to it with force equal to an escape pod ejection system. The round creates shockwaves as it passes through the target. In the case of material targets, this is a minor explosion and the creation of structural fractures. In the case of personnel targets, it simultaneously rips apart and pulverizes the body around the impact area.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
- Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
- Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.
- Warping: The heat and power generated by the shots can cause excessive heat that when cooled quickly causes warps and bends. Dangerous as the damage over time to the barrels require care and replacement parts usually after every other engagement.
- Sleg: A powerful energy enhancer, the sleg absorbs and channels the excessive heat generated by the weapons to cool and power the shots. Making them maintain a stronger level of power but also increases the chances that they could explode exponentially turning each gun into a heavy warhead that is carried by soldiers
- Splash Damage: While designed to handle targets with deadly accuracy the shots are dangerous and highly explosive. Splash damage against allies and enemies doesn't discriminate.
- Oxygen Requirement: To take the full effects of the illerium the weapon requires oxygen to react with the chemical and have the full effect of the weapon. Without it the power is reduced by two thirds.
- Charge Up: the electromagnetic coils require a charge time to wget warmed up and ready between shots. Making the rate of fire slower then a standard pistol.
- Underbarrel: While more a small problem the rail system for other rifles above and below the main barrel has been removed to engineer it more towards high functionality.
Designed for the rangers to use against vehicles and enemy squads, the works that had been put into their equipment was an important part of it all. The launcher itself is fairly standard and basic being shoulder mounted and with a small scope for finding ranged targets. The only really special things about it is the materials being used for it and the ranger's signature biometric grips to prevent others from being able to use it. The casing and materials are lightweight allowing the ranger's to carry it around and even use it with their jump packs for specializing in the movements. The rockets themselves are designed to lock on and track large heat signatures from vehicles and transports that is can attack. The duel chamber so that ir can fire off if needed two rockets to ensure the target is down is also a small benefit to the rangers but the reloading process takes awhile for them to get everything set back up. Overall it is a fairly basic weapon to add to the ranger's arsenal and everything that they need.
One of the better additions to the arsenal that Willa could work on. Improving the stopping power and use fo the launchers for the ranger's or the paladins was an important task. She drastically beefed up its power not just for long range but also for it to be able to handle different types of missiles from anti vehicle and structure to general crowd control for when they are being overwhelmed. Making it an effective power weapon and component of a soldiers field kit that despite the heavier weight is going to be able to better clear obstructions. The secondary fire and tertiary back up allowing it to while being out of missiles.... keep firing and being of use.
