Rank question

I am wondering which force user tittle I should use.
I choose sith, for these reasons.
1: I hate and I am still angry about what the one sith did to Alderaan.
2: I am scared of sith spawn, petrified to be honest.
3: I still have nightmares over glitter.
4: I can only access the force through emotions, a sith trait.

For these reasons I kept sith tags, as I am do not think dark jedi would apply, as I never came across there code.

Though saying that I have been pulled on it couple of times.

SIIIITTTHHH! *ahem* Not all Sith really follow a group, some are just rouges. I do think you should keep Sith.

Dark Jedi have no code, they are not a singular cohesive group. One Dark Jedi is not the same as another.

Anyone who uses the dark side, regardless of religious affiliation, accesses it through emotions. It isn't a sith trait, it is a dark side trait.

"Rouge" is french for red, you're looking for "Rogue". And "Rogue" Sith are Sith who don't fall in line with the One Sith but follow the Sith code and do things Sith do, if you just use the dark side, let your emotions control you, et cetera, you are going to fall in line with Dark Jedi rather than Sith.

But it's your choice.

[member="Braith Achlys"] pretty much said what I think.

Dark jedi would be the best thing to do. Not a sith but dark sided... that's a dark jedi... basically, its squares and rectangles.

All sith are dark jedi. Not all dark jedi are sith.

This is essentially what I came here to say. It is a very important distinction.

A Sith is a very particular type of Dark Jedi with a set of beliefs and dogma. Including different interpretations such as with the Old Empire, Brotherhood of Darkness, Darth Bane, Plagueis, or Krayt.

That ^

So, I would recommend the Dark Jedi tag, and that you wear it with pride, [member="Elaine Thul"].

What pretty much everyone here has said. Dark Jedi traditionally shun dogmas and codes as they find them useless, merely following the Dark Side as they see fit without much of a care in the galaxy. I think rogue darksider is a broad classification, whereas Sith are often more refined simply by nature.

Join the Empire then. We will eventually wage war against the One Sith along with everyone else.

I have always saw it that Dark Jedi were ether what predated the Sith or weaker than Sith at least in the medias I have seen them in. More so on this site, Sith are full on Dark Siders that have a code that contradicts the Jedi. Dark Jedi are Jedi who use the Dark Side, but don't give in enough like the Sith.

Dark Jedi are not Jedi. That is an entirely contradictory statement. They do not follow the Jedi Code, nor do they answer to the Jedi hierarchy. And "giving in" is relative. There are Sith who are more-or-less just dark siders who follow the Sith Code with the bare-minimum exposure to the dark side, due to some dogma that being too enveloped in the dark side is equivalent to letting it control you rather than the opposite, and there are Dark Jedi who are more in-tune with the Dark Side than many/most Sith.

And this isn't entirely true either. There are many groups that are Dark Jedi who have their own dogmas and beliefs but simply are neither Sith or Jedi and thus fall under the umbrella term of "Dark Jedi". Because that's what a dark jedi is, an umbrella term for any dark sider.
