Ranking System
Regular members will go through this ranking system:Squire -> Knight -> Paladin
Squire: This is the lowest rank of the faction. During this rank, you will learn about our faction and you will be trained by, either, a Knight, or a Paladin. Once you meet these requirements you may rank up to Knight:
1. Must have experience with the faction in posting and training.
2. Character must be trained well enough to handle self as a Knight
3. Superiors agree that you are ready for rank up trials
4. Must complete rank up trial thread that will be posted by a superior when they believe you are ready.
Knight: A Knight is the middle rank of the faction. Once you are a Knight, you are more free from restrictions. Knights will be able to lead small armies of the faction. Knights may also take on a Squire as an apprentice. For a Knight to rank up to Paladin, they must be well respected and meet the following requirements:
1. Gained more experience with the faction and posts regularly with the faction in threads, etc.
2. Gained respect from many members of the faction.
3. Will need to complete a trial thread that will be set up by superior members.
Paladin: A Paladin is the highest normal rank in the faction. They hold a good amount of power in the faction and have proven themselves to be excellent faction members and leaders. Once a member reaches the Paladin rank, they are eligible for special ranks. The only way a Paladin can rank up to a special ranking is by decision of higher ranking members.
Special ranks include:
1. Council (3 members) lowest of the special rankings
2. Marshal (1 member) middle of the special rankings
3. Hand of the King (1 member) highest of special rankings
Council: The council will assist the King in important decisions. The Council also holds more power in the faction and have gained the trust and respect of most members. Select Council members may receive admin powers.
Marshal: The Marshal is the military commander of the faction. They have gained respect of all members of the faction and must be voted into position. They will be voted in from the existing Paladins. All members of the faction have the ability to vote on this decision after Council members and other high ranking members have selected a few Paladins for the voting.
Hand of the King: This is the highest ranking position in the faction, besides the King. The person in this rank has gained the trust of the King and has shown amazing leadership ability. The only way a person can be put into this position is by King and Council decision.
