Below is the list of ranks available both IC and OOC in the Hutt Cartel.
IC Ranks
Thug - Everyone starts at this rank when they first join. This rank is designed to allow newcomers the ability to learn how the Cartel works and how we do what we do. IC'ly, this rank covers everything from new Hutts working to get themselves known to fresh faced mercs and Bounty Hunters looking to get their fifteen minutes of fame. Long and short, you're the bulk of the Cartel and who we turn to to get things done on the ground.
Kingpin - These guys and girls are members who have RPed their way up and hold more sway in the Cartel IC'ly. They're the middle rank Hutts or Crime Bosses who hand out jobs or hire on thugs to their personal empires. They're also big name Bounty Hunters or the heads of Mercenary groups. Long and short, when things need to be done, we turn to the Thugs to make it happen, but the Kingpins are the ones who lead them.
Crime Lord - Crime Lords are just that: the lords of crime. They're the ones leading big crime syndicates or who own shady businesses here and there. They're the ones that call the IC shots and generally hand around the money and make the big time deals. This rank is achieved through IC roleplay and OOC contributions to the faction as well as aiding other members. Characters that make up this rank are big time Hutt bosses, famous bounty hunters, or the leaders of Mercenary companies that have made some serious names for themselves.
Cartel Boss - This rank is reserved for the IC leader of the Cartel. The Cartel Boss is the de facto leader of the Cartel. When they speak, the Cartel jumps or finds out what happens to insubordinate underlings. The Boss calls the shots and generally is noted as a criminal powerhouse in the Cartel. Nothing gets by this character and they've got a finger in every pie, so to speak. Only on Cartel Boss is allowed at any time and is generally elected OOC'ly by the members. To qualify for this rank, you must be heavily active IC'ly in both Faction and Non-Faction Roleplays and you must also be very active OOC'ly both in supporting the Cartel and in aiding/guiding other Cartel members.
OOC Ranks are pretty simple. There are three.
Member - You hang out, you enjoy the complimentary food table, you RP, and you chat around. Everyone starts out as a Member and most of the people here in the Cartel are Members. Welcome to the Bread and Butter club.
Moderator - These folks are the handy helpers of the admin(s). They keep an eye on the place to make sure the drama and OOC problems are kept to a minimum. When they speak, please listen to them and follow their instructions otherwise an admin will step in. If you have a problem with a Moderator, shoot a PM to an Admin and the issue should resolve itself soon.
Administrator - These merry few are the OOC heads of the Cartel. They maintain the site, listen to members and mods, keep the peace, and keep in touch with the Admins of Chaos. When they speak, please listen as they'll only speak when required. Otherwise, they're just there to maintain an even keel in the Cartel. If you have an issue with a Moderator, shoot them a PM. If you have an issue with an Admin, shoot a SWRP Chaos Admin a PM and things should be sorted soon.
