Appearance
Rann is a very handsome man with a lean build. He tends to wear his hair longer with some form of facial hair. In combat, if it's too long, he'll tie his hair back into a ponytail or bun to prevent it being grabbed and used against him. Lately, he's started to amplify his more physically appealing traits by shaving away most of his facial hair, choosing not to hide behind hair anymore. His right arm, a robotic prosthetic, appears human to the naked eye, and from a distance. It is often covered with a black glove to hide the metal beneath.

• Rann was born on Onderon in 835 ABY in the capital city of Iziz to a lower class mother, never fully aware or particularly caring who his father was. He grew up relatively happy and was raised with ideals of self-preservation alongside a small degree of empathy by his mother. A man his mother had taken as her partner in his life was present when Rann's Force Attunement was discovered, and he convinced Rann to use his gifts to benefit his family. Performing magical tricks around the markets for children using the Force, Rann made enough money to supplement his family's income. Not capable of more advanced tricks, Rann focused on more sleight of hand and small movement tricks, seeking more to confuse then amaze. Never the less, Rann was entertaining, and quickly became known as the Amazing Rann around Iziz' marketplaces. When the Markets were closed, Rann and his step-father would go rob from businesses, using Rann's attachment to the Force as a tool.
  
  One day, however, a mysterious woman arrived in Iziz. Derailing, and then out right exposing Rann's show, the woman alluded to power and potential Rann had not yet reached before disappearing. With his Reputation as a magician ruined courtesy of the woman who indirectly referred to herself as Sith, Rann decided it was time to leave Onderon behind and seek to fulfill this potential the woman mentioned. Not knowing how exactly to go about it, Rann boarded a ship and headed directly to Kashyyyk.
  
  After landing on Kashyyyk and making some acquaintances with the Jedi in the area, Rann met a strange masked man piloting a very familiar ship. Rann did not know why, but he knew the ship from somewhere. The man, Ar'ekk, interested Rann and told him more of the Force, helping Rann begin to unlock his deeper potentials. Rann realized the ship was the famed Ebon Hawk and realized quickly that he needed to be on the ship, and trained by the man who owned it. Rann had become a Jedi Padawan.
  
  Rann traveled to Voss with his Master and his Master's sister, Aren D'Shade. There, Rann experienced a vision regarding his greatest fear: obscurity. Vowing to never be forgotten, Rann salvaged an old Sith Lightsaber from the ruins of the Jedi Temple on Voss and quickly went about training to become an adept lightsaber wielder.
  
  Rann and Aren, having departed from Ar'ekk, arrived at the shipyards of Mon Cala in search of a ship they could call their own. Upon finding a suitable candidate, the duo proceeded to board the ship and commandeer it. However, the security detail on board refused to simply give up the ship to the two thieves, and attacked them. Here, Rann had to take his first life. The two guards crumpled to the floor, dead, after a quick skirmish in which they injured Rann. With new scarring on his abdomen, Rann and Aren departed the Shipyard for their new adventures.
  
  The ship that had been taken by Rann and Aren had arrived over Vjun. There, they were hailed by the local forces and ordered to land. Upon landing, they were introduced to a group of people called The Dark Hand. On the planets surface, outside Darth Vader's ancient stronghold Bast Castle, the two were split up, and Rann would not reunite with Aren for some time.
  
  Rann was then introduced to Riamah, an extremely powerful force user who promised to teach Rann more about the Force and lightsaber techniques. The two would train together for some time before Rann set out on his own, looking to put Ra's teachings to good use however he could. Ra would teach Rann many things and greatly enhance his powers, and Rann would also make great use of the Libraries in Bast Castle, absorbing all he could of Force techniques and Lightsaber skills.
  
  Rann rejoined with Aren on the planet Dorsis. Spending much time together, the pair would join in a scheme to defraud charitable organizations on the planet Iokath
  
  Rann joined the Confederacy in time for the invasion of Ryloth by the Agents of Chaos. He fought on the ground against Rylothi insurgents and AOC soldiers to protect Ryloth and her inhabitants. Rann lost an arm during the battle to a Twi’lek suicide bomb and has since acquired a new, robotic one AND a darker personality inside of his mind that he was unaware of at this time.
  
  Shortly after the Battle of Ryloth, Rann took part in the second invasion from the Agents of Chaos at Rodia. Despite an eagerness for combat, and a readiness for death, Rann was denied both. Enraged at what he considered an insult, Rann's inner darkness openly revealed itself and took ahold of Rann, influencing and manipulating his thoughts and emotions. Dejected, depressed, and furious, Rann left the field of battle. He regrouped with other CIS forces at an aid station close by, and there became even more depressed seeing the wounded and glorious dead of the battle. This infuriated him, because he felt the AoC insulted him personally by attacking with such a meager force. What's more, they accomplished objectives. It made Rann feel as if he was nothing, less than nothing. He felt weak, unworthy. But, he also became aware of the darkness inside.
  
  On the withdrawal from Rodia, Rann was made aware of a sibling he had, Damsy Callat. A sister, and fellow child of the Sith Lord, Darth Metus. Rann met with this sister of his, and they both quickly struck up an unbreakable bond.
  
  Not much later, Rann proclaimed himself Lord of Rannon, and introduced businesses, markets, and economy to the backwater planet. He also took it upon himself to renovate the old Jedi Temple that lie inside the Hidden Valley of the planet. His goal? To create his own household using the Temple as his new Stronghold. But... Fate had other ideas.
  
  Meditating in the Temple in an attempt to remove the corruption that had taken hold, Rann was interrupted by Nimue, a Force User he had met and almost fought on Rodia. Nimue, unaware of Rann's presence inside the Temple, was quickly assumed to be a threat and assassin. A fight ensued, and at the end, Nimue emerged victorious.

  On Geonosis, a terrible cataclysm occured, severely crippling the Knights Obsidian. It reduced their number from several thousand to a couple hundred, if that. Rann was present on the planet when this catastrophe occured and while making his escape from several Afflicted, he came across the gross remains of an Obsidian Knight, still clutching it's lightsaber. Rann summoned the Lightsaber to his hand and, out of respect for his fallen brethren, continues to use it both to honor his brothers and sisters and to bring death to his enemies.

  +DILIGENCE - Rann attacks any task presented before him and does not rest until it is completed.
  +FRIENDLY - Rann is very open and friendly with all people unless given a reason not to be. However, when someone dislikes him, he takes it personally and tries to repair the relationship.
  +SKILLED LIGHTSABER COMBATANT - Training with Riamah has sharpened Rann's ability with a lightsaber.
  +SKILLED AT BLASTER DEFLECTION/REFLECTION - Training with Riamah has sharpened Rann's ability to deflect blasterbolts
  +ADEPT AT FORCE USE - Training with Riamah has allowed Rann to tap into the Force more accurately, deepening his connection to it and allowing him to draw upon it.
  +SKILLED HAND-TO-HAND COMBATANT - Training with Riamah has given Rann a passable skill in hand-to-hand combat incase his weapon is ever stripped or otherwise lost to him.
  +BRAVE -Rann will charge into danger at any given opportunity.
  +ATARU SPECIALIST - Rann has studied and practiced Ataru almost exclusively, making him a deadly adversary in open areas.
  +TELEKINESIS MASTER - Having practiced Telekinesis ever since he was a young boy, Rann has mastered the power. He can easily lift several things and often incorporates telekinesis into his fighting style.
  -GROWING INSANITY - Due to trauma sustained on Ryloth, Rann’s mental state is steadily declining, giving way to the Darkside.
  -EMP - Due to Rann’s robotic right arm, an EMP will short circuit it, making it useless.
  -PRIDE - Rann is incredibly prideful. A defeat or asking for help will hurt his pride.
  -ATARU SPECIALIST - Due to being an ATARU Specialist, Rann will falter and be at a disadvantage when in close quarters.

• Rann owns two lightsabers, One is a Lightsaber he built under the tutelage of Voph, a master of his. This lightsaber produces an Orange blade and has a sleek, silvery finish.One is a lightsaber he acquired from a fallen Knight Obsidian on Geonosis. This Lightsaber has been modified to fit Rann's hand, but maintains it's original black finish. It produces a Green blade. Rann respectfully refers to these Lightsabers as Amber and Emerald.

  - The Amazing Rann!, Completed - Rann, a street performer using the Force to swindle townsfolk in the city of Iziz on Onderon, is called out by a Darksider and convinced to leave Onderon in the search for something greater.
  
  - Ever Been A Fish Out Of Water?, Completed[/color] - Rann sets foot on Kashyyyk, home of the Silver Jedi. It's nothing like what he's used to, and it shows.
  
  - Secrets Of The Force, Completed] - Rann meets Arekk and travels aboard the Ebon Hawk. He later meets Aren D'Shade, and the two quickly become infatuated with eachother.
  
  - Way Of The Apprentice, Completed - Rann arrives on Voss with Aren and Arekk, seeking to explore the old Jedi Temple there. While there, he has a vision of Onderon in flames and him lying dead in an alleyway. He fears he will amount to nothing, and promises himself to avoid this fate. He also finds an old Sith Lightsaber that he claims as his own.
  
  - Our Lips Are Sealed, Completed- Rann and Aren, having left Arekk behind, begin traveling together and work to steal a ship from the docks of Mon Cala. The ship is suddenly stopped at Vjun, Rann and Aren are separated for years, and Rann meets his new Master, Riamah.
  
  - The Road, Completed - Rann studies under Riamah and learns saber techniques, working hard to master Jar-kai and the form of Ataru.
  
  - First Blood, Completed- On Dorsis, Rann is reunited with Aren when she is captured by a crazed dark jedi in a private blood feud between him and some other jedi.
