Cathar has always been unfortunately away from the spotlight amidst galactic affairs, with the sole exception in recent history being the sadly short-lived Hegemony. A handful of star systems were dominated by their fleets, yet these swiftly collapsed and were absorbed by outside powers. Ranoc was little more than a civilian hunter for one of the many city-trees of Cathar at this time. He aspired for something more, both for himself and his people. More than just being known as a uniquely feline species, more than failures that had once grasped for the stars in a game of empire, but were brought low.
So he enlisted with the Imperial military, serving from the very start of that years-long conflict from nearly the start all the way to the siege of Bastion and beyond. He served with distinction and dignity as a Stormtrooper, giving Cathar that glorious recognition it so rightly deserved as equally staunch supporters of the New Imperial Order. When the Sith Empire at last fell, Ranoc's service was repaid with the eventual promotion to Master Sergeant, as well as the change to enter Special Operations Command as a Storm Commando, should he succeed in the long, grueling training and trials beforehand.
He accepted and passed with flying colors, becoming the first Cathar Commando in the Order. This happened just as Csilla was destroyed by the Brotherhood, spurring him into a new wave of patriotism. Where at first he simply wanted the chance to give the Cathar more recognition than a failed empire and victims of ancient genocide and constant conquest, now he actually felt that the Imperials were right - the Sith needed to be destroyed, and even the Jedi must be kept in check. It is their constant clashes of Light and Dark that shatter the galaxy again and again, and it shall ultimately be the Imperial way of things that ends it.

Starting from the top, the dark-furred feline keeps his mane swept back behind his pointed, ring-pierced ears in a distinctly out-of-regulation look that, as far as he's concerned, he has earned the right to have with his exceptional service and graduation from Commando School. His eyes are a deep, dark azure that clashes extensively with his night-kissed fur, and are noticeably slanted in the iris. Aside from the fur, he has no facial 'hair' to speak of.
Going along with the strong and tall build of a hunter, his shoulders are quite broad., with similarly beefy arms that look strong enough to open that blasted pickle jar on the first try. Truly a titanic man. The rest of his body is similarly sculpted from dark marble, easy to see even with the relatively fluffy fur growing form his body. There's the occasional scar here and there, though most damage has likely been fixed up so that there won't be massive, nasty splotches where no fur grows.

Strengths:
- Military Veteran - He's got several years of combat experience in gruesome environments from the Third Imperial Civil War, and can certainly apply this to the fights he's likely to find himself in.
- Tooth & Nail - Evolution is on his side here, granting him claws and teeth to use in a fight should he get the opportunity and not have more advanced tools of war with him at the moment.
- Urban Master - He knows way around the city, from how to navigate the streets under fire to how best on executes an ambush.
Weaknesses:
- Technologically Lost - He knows how to use his tools of the trade, but anything beyond basic maintenance or how to use a holonet browser to search up funny recordings is beyond him. Should his more sensitive technology break or if he's presented with a situation where he must slice through security systems, he's practically helpless.
- Melee Combat - He's trained in the use of knives and basic hand-to-hand combat and can ultimately get by, but it wouldn't be hard for fellow members of special forces or dedicated martial artists to overpower him with superior skill.
