---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
Strength:
- Raoden possesses an innate talent for mechanical construction and invention. Being talented enough to understand the inner working of most machinery he could reach within the slums of Coruscant.

- Raoden while his knowledge was based around machinery; his prodigy skill manifested into knowledge on more biological and chemical sciences. This knowledge being difficult to attain in the slums, it was acquired mostly from the rare chance to gather chemicals; with the occasional ‘ghetto’ surgery out of desperation (He never succeeded in any serious surgery) or finding the rare textbook (That wasn’t used for kindling). This knowledge would be rather rudimentary to any educated person, given the lack of material to research in the slums.

- With his life in the slums and frequent work trying to dismantle machinery, Raoden had amassed a moderate amount of muscle. This however, would be nothing compared to say a soldier or musclier race.

- From his life in the slums, Raoden had learned the basics of combat, both with a slugthrower and with a basic wrench. This knowledge was learned from his time growing up, not from any serious combats. Making his fighting ‘style’ be rather erratic and untrained, with as much grace as an angry Rancor.

- Raoden had an innate determination to most tasks, being one of the prime reasons for his continued inventions.

- He has an extreme amount of loyalty towards friends, leaning on absurd amounts. Being accepting and desiring to assist his friends, possessing an almost doglike loyalty.

Neutral:
- Raoden possesses an extreme curiosity to the unknown. A trait evolved from necessity, given the scarce research material within the slums, any chance to learn or experience new things was a treasure to him. This trait lead to his acquisition of a partial education yet is also the source of many cuts and bruises. With curiosity being a dangerous thing within the wrong circles.

- His dealings with people within the slums to attain materials and machinery to outright scrapping things from functional worksites had given Raoden the chance to understand how criminal dealings work, but also acquired him quite a lengthy list of minor infractions with the local law enforcement. While he has already been through his fines and jail time (With his mile-long infraction list only placing him at 6 months in prison altogether, this only being because of his age, partially paid fines and ‘good behaviour’), any governing authority with the ability to see this list would likely look down at Raoden.

Weakness:
- Throughout his time scavenging through small vents to simply living within the underbelly of Coruscant in the slums, Raoden had grown a fear of open spaces. While this fear wasn’t crippling, it took him some time to adjust to the sight of an open field before continuing forward. He grew a method of copping with this as a child, where he would cover his face with both hands, a habit that while funny, isn’t the best habit to have with an urge to adventure.

- Raoden while possessing courage, this was also from his lesser regard for his own life. While understanding the difference between standing in the open during a gun fight and proper safety requirements to not cripple oneself. He has a notorious habit of disregarding his own safety during everyday life, extending from risking himself to save others to rather simple things like testing volatile inventions by standing right next to it (Unless he intended for it to blow up, of course).

- From his time dealing with his fellows in the slums, he lacks most of proper manners and respects that would be given between normal citizens in other cultures. This isn’t out of disrespect for any culture as he is happy to be taught, he simply doesn’t understand it. This lack of manners can be from food manners, to personal space issues, to being rather blunt or quiet about certain topics.

- Raoden from his times within gangs and family had grown a desire for companionship, as with the slums, companions that can be trusted are far between. This has led to him being far too open with some people, attempting to garner their trust. Once its been achieved, he believes extremely in loyalty (See strengths) and is almost doglike in helping his friends. This however also backfires on him, living him grief stricken and heart broken when a companion betrays him.

APPEARANCE
Raoden is an average sized boy with brown hair and eyes. He frequently holds a smile as he continues on with his day, his stance in everyday life seeming full of confidence and life mixed with a leaning arch whenever he relaxed on any object. He had garnered many scars and bruises over his arms and torso from mistakes adding up overtime, whether they be acquired from failed inventions to accidentally falling near protruding scrap (A common occurrence in the slums).

Raoden displays his emotions with subconsciously common queue that he never picked up on. When he is annoyed, his nose often twitched as if he had a bad itch. When he began to fear a certain event, even when he attempts to stand tall, his lips tighten as if he had a sour taste within his mouth. When he’s sad, he would seem to blink more rapidly, even if he wasn’t crying.

His hair always seemed to be cluttered and barely cared for, with his lifestyle giving him little reason to particularly mind his hair. This leads to his hairs look changing on a day by day occurrence, depending on the day and up-draft in a particular vent.

THE STORY
Part 1 (Background Information)
Born to the notorious Bennet family, an abnormally large family within the underbelly of Coruscant. Born a twin into a litter of 9 other family members, Raoden and the batch were raised in a run-down hotel until the age of 6. At this age, the children were of age to enter the family business, pickpocketing, shoplifting from the still functional stores and looting valuables from abandoned gang shootouts and collapsed buildings. During his off times, he went with his twin, Tane to play with old machinery and read old comics and books that the family had no interest in. This activity made Raoden and Tane’s life in the slums became better as they continued, while also granting them a partial education in machinery and the off science book attempting to understand and use the knowledge they gathered, something they proved to be prodigy’s at, being perhaps capable of becoming prized academics, if circumstances were different. They also became avid fans of “Captain Hercule” a comic book hero they excitedly searched and read about, the space captain being what drove the boys to dream about becoming adventurers.
Raoden’s life continued like this until the age of 11, where he finally began to take a more ‘active’ role in the family business, being grouped together with the older children to finally learn how to fight. This is the time where Raoden acquired his slug thrower, while he kept it maintained, he was never fond of the weapon. He first found use of it during a gang war between a rival family, during which 3 on his side were wounded. During a dangerous gambit, he ran to them and attempted to assist them with the partial knowledge he had attained, attempting to do surgery on his brothers. He failed to save 2 of them, the slugs having pierced them in vital areas, Raoden only finding luck in saving one of his brothers. When the blood was finally cleared away did Raoden only just realise his twin had been one of the causalities.
The loss of his twin and friend drove Raoden to guilt, blaming himself for failing to succeed in the surgery. To attempt to redeem himself, he drove himself further into his hobby now turned obsession, learning. To assist with his endeavour, Raoden moved out of his family’s hotel, moving in with a friend and 21-year-old brother, Xavier. Through his brother and from his guilt ridden determination, Raoden began to discover ways to acquire more complex machinery, the black markets on Coruscant. With his brother’s assistance, Raoden became acquainted with several black market dealers, purchasing machinery and literature, illegal and otherwise through bartering and the delivery of scrapped machinery. Raoden found luck with his father, Plaus, with his successful surgery, he found himself capable of convincing his family leader and father into letting him avoid the confrontational fights his family involved themselves in, placing Raoden into the families much required medical and engineering side, allowing Raoden a much more inside knowledge into the slug throwers and occasional blasters that his family owned, during the rare times, he even managed to ‘borrow’ a few of them, attempting to modify them when the whim came along. This machinery was not always safe however, as Raoden discovered through his attempted inventions. Finding no success, yet the ire and watch of the local law enforcement. Though he preserved himself throughout his dealings and failed experiments, he finally found his greatest achievement, through Xavier calling in countless favours and Raoden spending thousands of his hard-earned credits, they acquired a broken down wreckage of a Barloz-class Medium Freighter, Raoden and Xavier having to acquire an entire warehouse to store it while they attempted to repair it.
Raoden continued on with his life until the age of 16 when he finally moved out of his brother’s apartment, moving into the abandoned warehouse in the lower districts, finally removing himself from his family’s shady dealings and determined to live out his and his twins dream of become an adventurer, while he had long since forgiven himself for his failure as a youth, Raoden believed that the dream they both shared intertwined their souls, even in death. This decision becoming a reality when a hyperdrive engine revealed itself on the market.
