Strengths:

Description: The RAL was designed in response to a growing need to infill troops in a rapid fashion. This could range from landing security force into area of growing unrest or precision deployment of troops on the battlefield. The need for speed is such that typical dropships do not fit as a viable solution. In order to accomplish this task, the ship is capable of holding only twenty troops and is relatively streamlined in comparison to other dropships, such as the AAL by Sienar-Jaemus. In addition, it lacks the highly visible cockpit that can be easily targeted by ground forces.

The ship does have a particle shield, but this must be lowered when the troops are deploying. This leaves the vessel vulnerable to attack from anti-ship weaponry on the ground, especially projectiles. To counter this, a single chaff gun has been installed to deal with incoming projectiles. The Ground Buzzer can fend off enemy troops that might get into the area immediately before, during, or after deployment and before takeoff. Otherwise the ship is only armed with two Laser Cannon's for dealing with marauding starfighters, or gunships.

Shields are present but minimal. They're only designed to ensure that the ship reaches from point A to point B, not to withstand capital-class weapons fire, and if targeted by starfighters, unless the pilot is good enough, it will eventually succumb to fire and be eliminated just as most starfighters would be in a dog fight. It makes up for its light defensive capabilities with its speed and maneuverability. A skilled pilot will get the job done in this landing craft.
Intent: To create a rapid assault landing craft for use by anyone in the galaxy when landing troops/security forces with pin point accuracy and speed.

This looks pretty solid conceptually.

What you've got listed here is solid, but I do need armament and defense ratings. I would recommend a defense rating of "10" and armament rating of "8".

I would also probably move the Flak gun into the weapons section since these can be used to target most small starships. Alternatively, if you're looking for more of a defensive, anti-missile device, I would suggest looking at the Caltrop-5 Chaff Gun.

Squadron Count: Does not fly in squadrons.

It's cool if you don't see this being flown in squadrons in actual roleplay, but if you are planning on putting large numbers of these on capital ships, I would recommend a squadron count, probably of around 6. But again, that choice is up to you.
