Description: The R.E.D.S. was created as a means of removing agents from a hostile zone across gaps that would be otherwise impossible to cross. The system works by utilizing a modified ascension gun, namely with the blaster switched for a foldable handle, a holding place in the grip for a liquid cable dispenser, an anchor that can be pulled out the back equipped with a CO2 cylinder to fire a spike back into the surface anchored to, a belt/harness hook, and an internal zipline system.
The flaws here are kind of obvious. The device is heavy, to the point of being rather cumbersome and difficult to aim. The rig is expensive, and the fact is the liquid cable dispenser has to be specially made for the R.E.D.S. Also, the fact remains that the hinge that allows for the convenient folding handle is a weak point, and if it doesn't lock in place, can fold inwards and cause the rider to loose their grip.
