Appearance: Absolutely rough around the edges, seedy, generally one that would fit in well in Coruscant's Underworld. Despite the fact that he is rubbish at growing facial hair, he sports a sparse black 'beard', but it mostly gives the effect of having a face that looks dirty all the time. He is also balding, but chooses to disguise this fact by wearing a hat nearly all the time. He has a larger than life personality that makes up for his small physical stature (around 5'6"). He believes wholeheartedly that he dresses with class, but his sense of style can only be classified as hobo-chic. His clothing tends to be outdated and over sized, making him appear even smaller.
Personality:
Untrustworthy: Most people that know Raul, know that you really can't trust the guy. If this situation suits him, he'll turn on you in a heartbeat.
Paranoid: Living in the Underworld can do this to a person. He has even developed a nervous tic (repetitive blinking).
Cowardly: If he's being threatened and there's no one around to help, he will instantly give in. He's also known for running from fights, quite literally.
A natural salesman: Despite the fact that everyone knows he's a sleazy guy, they always end up paying his ridiculous prices.
Weapon of Choice: Credits
Wealth: He makes a successful enough living selling spice, but not enough to make him all that wealthy. His supply of credits will wax and wane with his supply, sometimes he's doing well and other times he is quite poor.
Combat Function: He hires others to do the fighting for him. If he's backed into a corner he will try to talk his way out of it. Running and hiding is also another one of his favorite moves.
Skills: Other than his knack for sales, he doesn't have many other skills to speak of.
Notable Possessions: Raul likes to live off the grid, carry nothing into the world and there is less to be taken from you.

Background:
Little is known about Raul's childhood or early teen years, as he never talks about it. He likes to tell people that he was a born spice dealer, leading some to believe that his real 'life' started after her got into the business.
Delaney Bale was a spice runner for him on Nar Shaddaa when he was first starting out. He eventually left Nar Shaddaa due to the fact that there were already so many places to buy spice, and felt his services would be better served on Coruscant. While it had been an easy start on the smuggler's moon, it took some time for him to become established in the Undercity. People learned that Raul was not to be trusted and he had to work hard to earn business. Even though people generally disliked him, he made it his business plan to supply the spices and goods that were uncommon or hard to come by. As Raul became better known he hired a small band of mercenaries to protect him and his small storefront.
Raul is often sleep deprived, it's a difficult thing to lay your head down when you're a dealer in the Underworld. He sleeps with a blaster under his pillow, and usually pays a guard to stand watch during the night. He keeps his mercs very well paid to ensure their loyalty, as he can easily find a reason to be suspicious. Raul has a extensive network of cutters, merchants, smugglers and the like, though his contacts may not fully trust him, they'll do business with him if the price is right. In Raul's world, the customer is king, unless there's a reason to betray him.
