Description: The Raxis Rancor Company originated as a group of freedom fighters on the planet of Doldur where they sought to free themselves from the tyranny of their dictator. Their rebellion did not get off to a great start as few had much experience with warfare at the time. Clan Raxis came in, took over the rebellion, and lead them to victory. The company members then went from fighting on Doldur to volunteering for every operation that Gray needed them for. They continued to fight and become more experienced until they were officially formed into the Raxis Rancor Company.
The Raxis Rancor Company was formed to be used as assault and defensive forces. They utilize equipment designed to allow for both operations with no need to change up their outfitting too much. They use WESTAR arms and armor, all of which was designed to offer them versatility out in the field. Every member of the Rancor Company is loaded out in a Raxi'gam, ammo-belt, WESTAR 35, and a WA-01 on each wrist. Other equipment, the M5, MG-01, Co-rRi shield,and other attachments, is loaded out depending on role in the company and need. The use of the M5 rifle, which is able to be adjusted easily on the fly, and MG-01 means they are able to unload as much firepower as they need to in both focused or free firing engagements. They use the WESTAR Co-RI shield and BA-01 "Mr. Bubble" to provide protection in appropriate situations. The Co-Ri is used in choke points to provide them and the troops behind them with protection from fire from the front which is most useful to them while assaulting in urban and spacecraft environments, such as destroyers and stations. The "Mr. Bubble" is used for open environments such as fighting on plains or in forested areas where they can not block off their flanks. A number of them carry "Ms. Medica" instead of "Mr. Bubble" to act as combat medics to administer emergency medical aid out in the field. They all use Ammo-belts to carry additional ammunition and explosives so they do not run out in the field. Every trooper using an M5 has a WESTAR AA-01 "Lord Load" attached to it.
The Raxis Rancor Company main tactic is to steadily advance during assaults while maintaining their defenses, be it from the shield or back attachment. Those with M5 will adjust their rifles to best suit the situation, which depends on factors such as range of engagement and environmental conditions. They seek to begin their engagement as close to the target during assaults as possible due to how heavy their load out tends to be. Once engaged with the enemy, the squads will seek to distract the enemy with troops using the M5 attacking them directly from the while the troops with the MG-01 seek to flank the enemy from either side. When fired upon, they will always take cover as best they can. Those with an activated "Mr. Bubble" however will continue to fire from out of cover as the shield will protect them while they close on the enemy. The company seeks be within mid to close range of the enemy at all times, because that is the optimum distances for their weapons. When someone becomes injured during a fight, the others will cover them as the combat medic moves to them further away to a safer location to administer emergency treatment using the supplies carried in the "Ms. Medica". The combat medics will be as aggressive as the fighters until someone is injured and they must administer emergency aid.
The Raxis Rancor Company main tactic during defense is to hold choke points by taking advantage of their various shields. They will remain under cover the whole time and focus more on letting the enemy throw themselves at their defenses and rush forward into fire as much as possible. They seek to use their larger carried ammo potential to their advantage as well by forcing the enemy to deplete their ammunition then counter attacking as soon as their assault weakens. The combat medics remain in the back lines and only move forward when emergency care is needed. If the fighting troops begins to lose too many, the medics may switch over to engaging the enemy as a small reserve force.
The Raxis Rancor Company is 200 strong with 10 squads of 20 troops strong. Their make up is the same in each squad. The make up is as follows:
