STRENGTHS

• Numbers: The SF-01 Tie Fighters greatest strength lies in its squadrons, while not especially powerful or resilient on their own, the fighters are cheap to build and quick to manufacture. They operate with space and aerial superiority in mind, quickly flooding battlefields and gaining the upper hand through sheer numbers and combined fire.

WEAKNESSES

• Solo: Counter to their strength, the SF-01s are not suited for solo combat. While they can easily hold their own against most starfighters of similar design and use, they will easily be outgunned by heavier craft and utilize their speed to avoid this which leaves them open for counter-fire.

DESCRIPTION
Building their fleet from their secret, secure mobile shipyard located in unknown space; the Risen Empire needed a cheap, quick to build and easy to fly starfighter to begin their task of constructing a fleet. The SF-01 Tie Fighter was designed and selected to be the mainstay of the Risen Imperial Starfighter Corps. Quick, fast and easy to pilot.

While the SF-01s are nimble and fast they also fall short of heavier starfighters. Their aim is not to engage enemy aces or attack heavier craft during space or aerial battles. Their job is to quickly flood the battlefield with sheer numbers and combined arms fire, hastily establishing space superiority as quickly as they can manage. Once having done so, they leave the path open for heavy fighters and bombers to do their jobs and resort to escorting transports and other patrol duties.
