STRENGTHS

• Fire & Move: The SF-02s best defense is its attack and agility. The ability to set its wings in different combat positions allow it better defense depending on the situation, combined with its heavy firepower and missile deactivation system located on its side panels ensures it stays in the fight.

WEAKNESSES

• Slow: While it is agile and a hard hitter, the SF-02 lacks the top speed of its smaller and faster SF-01 counterpart. Easier to target but harder to take down, the SF-02 nonetheless has trouble with quicker enemy craft and can't escape hazardous engagements easily.

DESCRIPTION
Building their fleet from their secret, secure mobile shipyard located in unknown space; the Risen Empire needed a cheap, quick to build and easy to deploy starfighter for space superiority and a perfect fit for dogfighting. The SF-02 was selected and began production soon after its SF-01 counterpart. Quickly ensuring the Risen Imperial Starfighter Corps had a heavy hitting option for space engagements.

The SF-02, while built almost similarly to the SF-01, has upgrades required for its specific role. Adding a ion missile package to its torpedo launch capability ensured it had a number two option for taking down enemy craft. Combined with its single ion cannon and four laser cannons, the SF-02 is able to engage with heavy firepower and agility against hostile fighters, quickly slugging it out for space superiority while deflecting enemy missiles and tanking hits that would see a SF-01 go down.
