The Gouda - a reconnaissance cruiser with advanced stealth capabilities. It was currently under the direct command of the Concord Admiral Durant Chaussidier , serving as a base of operations for his anti-Sith activities in what used to be the core of the Sith Empire. The vessel slowly drifted towards a refueling station by one of the planet's moons. Flying with a Kaasian merchant's ID and making sure to stay away from potential threats by skillful manoeuvring and an active use of long range sensors, the Gouda was able to maintain a low profile in what would otherwise be considered hostile space.
Mathieu gazed out from the viewport onto the planet below. Troiken was unique. The planet's environment reminded him of the constant battles between light and dark. And then there was that thin green line in the middle - the habitable equator - that stood in between the two extremes. His gaze drifted to the door by his side. It was to the room in which Alina Tremiru was being kept. The woman, someone whom he perceived as Sith, had made him reflect on where he stood and on whether what he had been doing was truly just or not. Maybe she had a point. Maybe he too, should become more benevolent - even to the Sith. If he pulled back, would that allow for more habitable space for those in between?
For now, it didn't matter. Alina had allowed herself to be taken captive after he let the two acolytes go and was to be sent off to other authorities. Mathieu had been against it, believing that the safer option was to keep her with them, remembering what had happened last time and even seeing a bit of hope for true redemption this time. But Chaussidier disagreed. It was "Neither safe nor fair to keep her captive for so long" and in truth, there was little Mathieu could offer to counter that point. At the very least, he had created a holo-recording to review the captive's character. A sincere attempt to show her the same kind of kindness that she had shown to the acolytes.
After dropping the recording off to her and offering to come, should she face trial, Mathieu left for the hangar as internal security prepared for the transfer. Chaussidier's operations had a tendency to run smoothly and this was no exception. Just as planned, the hangar's outer gates opened just as Mathieu arrived. It was bustling with activity as crewmen worked at a high pace to remove the items already occupying the hangar to make way for the transport that the other Jedi would arrive in. It had been too long since he had last seen others of his kind. Jedi. He wondered if they would recognise him. If they were even of the same order. In truth, it didn't matter, he would be glad regardless.
Clad in heavy armour underneath his outer robes, the large Morellian stood straight with hands clasped behind his back. All that remained now was for the others to arrive.
