The Reaver-class Cruiser, also known as the Reaver-class Star Destroyer, was a warship designed primarily for hit-and-run attacks. It was produced by Iron Wrath Industries, and saw use as part of the Iron Imperial Navy.
The Reaver was an oddity, unique among the Iron Imperial Navy. Designed with the intention of performing hit-and-run attacks, the cruiser was most commonly found raiding enemy supply lines. Its weaponry was comparable to that of the Hammerfist-class, the most powerful of Iron Imperial cruisers. This allowed the cruiser to quickly destroy enemy supply ships, and their frigate escorts.
However, the Reaver's defenses were substandard. The ship simply was not able to survive extended engagements. As a result, and to reinforce its hit-and-run tactics, the Reaver was outfitted with powerful engines. This made the cruiser one of, if not, the fastest among Iron Imperial cruisers.
