Rebirth

Valad Yar was silent as the ships began to arrive to his small island on Bestine IV, each one carrying the newest members of the Reborn Brotherhood of the Sith. Others were allies and comrades Valad Yar had encountered, and hoped they would become good comrades in the days to come. There weren't many of them, at least not yet. A few Valad Yar had sent word to personally, while others were coming over their own volition. Whether they came knowing what they were to become part of, Valad Yar was certain that today would be the beginning of a glorious new age.

Behind him, the large metallic structure that was a small branch of the Exarite Corporation rose from the beach, the sudden change irregular and stark. Within, numerous rooms had been prepared for the gathering, as well as halls for food, entertainment, and learning. Knowledge was always a driving focus of the Reborn Brotherhood of the Sith, and all members would have equal access to the knowledge that Valad Yar had spent the past decade carefully gathering.

Stepping off the porch of his small wooden hut in front of the metallic structure, Valad Yar walked to meet his new comrades.

Darth Rage had, over his millennia of life, spent most of his time locked away within the confines of his temple. So, he had missed much change in the universe. As a result he needed to find out what had happened through hearsay and obscure data files. What little he had gleaned was not much at all. But, during his time exploring the universe he had found that, their were others like him, purveyors of knowledge and seekers of truth. These people would coalesce here on Bestine IV. Rage knew none of them, but felt confident he had much knowledge to exchange in return for whatever they knew...

That is if they knew anything at all.

Rage sat in the small boat as it traversed the seas towards a small island off in the distance. He enjoyed travel by sea and the ocean in general. It was a strange thing for a Sith lord to indulge himself in, but even so, he could not help himself from extending his arm into the ocean spray as the waves crashed against the ships hull. Rage laughed a little to himself as he felt the wet foam tickle his arms. The sun was shining and the day seemed inexorably beautiful. It was rare for Audroti to enjoy himself so much, but he found himself among good company and so would enjoy it to it's fullest.

The servants aboard his ship brought him cocktails which made him even more bubbly and he found himself dancing a small jig with the ships sailors as the ship sailed on. One of the sailors began to sing an old shanty and Audroti found himself dancing to the beat. By the time the ship had reached the docks the ship was live with laughter, singing, and even a little dance. It was indeed strange for a Sith. But, Rage was finally free and so could not help but enjoy himself! Finally as the ship weighed anchor Rage left the sailors with a merry wave and bid them adieu.

The young woman was already present with Valad having been working with him for a period of time. He had requested she come to the surface of the planet and leave her droid friends behind. Not wanting to be parted with them, she held a bit of a grudge but did as he requested.

She also left behind the bag she always had with her and wore only her clothes. They were still quite worn, but they were comfortable. Once nice looking, they were starting to show their age and lose their colouring.

Not knowing what was going on, she came up a few minutes after Valad had and stood next to him to greet the new people arriving. Her hands were in her pockets and she kicked a bit at the floor, chewing on her lower lip.

Watching as a stranger jumped off a ship, she silently wondered just what was going on. Keeping her mouth silent though, Aren just waited.
