Captain Ash
Sometimes, things went badly. It didn't matter how hard one worked at it or how lucky one might normally be. Every now and then, everything exploded. In fact, things had just gone that way for the vast majority of the galaxy. Aeshi had lost her ship and the galaxy had lost its best great hope.
The mood was tense around the Tillian Family Enterprises refit yard on Susefvi. Nobody quite knew what was going to happen. Many of the Alliance forces had pulled out, retreating who knew where. Well, Aeshi knew, but she kept that information to herself. A good chunk of the supplies left behind had been appropriated for the Susefvi Defense Force. They were going to need it.
And Aeshi had gotten word to her cousin Roth who spread word to those in what was now called the Alliance-in-Exile and Outer Rim Coalition or Underground that the family would help them prepare their ships for this new role, at an honest price. Enough to cover supplies, labor, and a small profit. As small as they could safely manage, anyways.
She herself had a new ship that she was working on refitting with the help of a few droids and other engineers. The rest of the company personnel were working on the other ships.
Her new freighter, name still undecided, lay cradled in a drydock, with its innards exposed and parts ready to be integrated into the rest of the ship. Roth's would be arriving shortly, from what she understood. It was bigger and would require more space and manpower. It'd be interesting to see else who might arrive.
