Intent: To create the next, and hopefully final, scope in a series to be manufactured by ReCal to be given out at Corruck's decision.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: ReCal Manufacturing Inc.
Model: ReCal Scope
Affiliation: Rebel Alliance, Open Market
Modularity: No
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Duraplast, Transparisteel, computer components
Description: The latest creation from the minds behind ReCal, the Night Vision Scope was made to answer the problem of night raids and ops. It uses magnification to capture light that cannot be seen by human eyes. This allows a user to view targets in darker areas than most humans can. The magnification allows for one to see in darkness with ease at 0.002 lux (using this) but the least amount of light it can differentiate with is 0.0001 lux, however the imaging is very difficult to work with at that point. The device has a computer within that automatically weakens portions of the magnification if it begins to get too bright, such as if a torch was shone onto the lens. This is to help avoid the user being blinded and therefore unable to continue functioning in an efficient manner. As with previous models, the Night Vision Scope can be sealed to almost any blaster by simply pushing it lightly against the top of the barrel. The scope can be removed with only slightly more difficulty by pulling it away from the barrel. Considerable amounts of recoil can also knock the scope off of the barrel.

As an added feature, the first 50 scopes created will have the ability to attach to any other ReCal Scope. This will allow a person with the ACOG, or the Telescopic, to utilize the weapons just as easily at night, as during the day.

Everything looks fine except for one thing: the magnification. I think you missed that entirely. Perhaps you could make the scope itself be an attachment for other scopes that would allow them to use Night Vision optics? Or you could just lay down a magnification for this puppy and I can stamp it approved.

@Me when done, pal.

Alright I added this to near the beginning of the first paragraph:

"The magnification allows for one to see in darkness with ease at 0.002 lux (using this) but the least amount of light it can differentiate with is 0.0001 lux, however the imaging is very difficult to work with at that point."

Is that better? Or do you think I should tone down it capabilities? Sorry just thought I would ask, as I am not sure as to how far the Star Wars universe would beat current technology.
