In the past others have accused the SSC of not providing aid to allies in need. Does the faction have any plans on assisting one way or another? Audren can always jump in on his own, I know that, but it would probably look better if there was a faction effort, even if it was only a few of us.

Can you provide some detail on the situation? I'm terrible at keeping up. Explain and I'll be more than happy to participate, even if IC political drama keeps the SSC from getting directly involved (Not entirely sure on where the admins lie).

Red Dawn OOC - From what I understand, the Republic PM has taken emergency powers and a clone army, nationalizing corporations and assets inside Republic space, portions of the Senate are operating in exile, general Empire-esque mess.

Better Business Bureau - One Sith and Techno Union attack on the Republic capital. Hit and run, PVP-heavy.

The companies targeted by the nationalisation of assets order were ATC and Tenloss. It wasn't a general order to nationalise all private enterprise in Republic space, though there's obviously a bit of a snowball effect.


Some Mandalorian leaders are pushing for war though. There's a clan leaders meeting about it going on right now.


Don't have the link handy, but in another thread Republic troops execute former functionaries of the Imperial Remnant (which is quite ironic).


Speaking for myself, Sio views the whole affair as an internal matter of the Republic and doesn't want to get involved unless it spills over. Firemane's frozen its old contracts with the Republic and helped Salacia evacuate its property from a Republic due to the business ties with [member="Judah Dashiell"], but is staying out unless the Republic messes with it. Of course, though on the Sanctum council I can't speak for all of SSC or define what its 'official' position is.

Hmmmm well we can go and assist perhaps. We don't really need approval as long as we're not openly representing the SSC.

Every little bit helps I suppose! It's an opportunity to develop characters and write with some more people.

EDIT: You cans still write and join, I just don't think the SSC will be joining. Haven't have had the greatest relationship with the pubs anyway as a result of the faction's creation.

Still haven't decided if Audren is going to jump in. If there was going to be an official faction jump, he'd join, but if not he might show up towards the tail end of BBB. Hyperspace time and all that.

We have often been accused of this even though we did assist in past events (invasions and the like). The numbers of SSC or SJO members in those thread were lacking due to a couple of reasons, mostly because the limit of allies or none at all allowed in them, or because some of our members are not that fond of the constant name calling of SSC members. Even though this continues/d we went.

So, anyone wishing to participate in the threads most certainly can. Any help required by the GA or JO we go in as official allies and you can state as much, the GR however, the SSC is not overly happy with so if you wish to help them it would be unofficial.

But please know that there would be absolutely NO OOC or IC ramifications for it if you do. We have never and will never prevent anyone from RPing wherever they wish, with whom ever they wish. So please go and enjoy yourselves.

If anyone wants to, they can piggy back on an Alliance strike force, we've got fighters and we've got people on the ground for the TU/OS thing. Plus we'll have people filtering in doing relief and war support across the event.

As for SSC not helping I see it as sign of an intelligent member base. We know where the drama happens and avoid it

Danger is focusin on that while presenting a forum for those who desire to work together in free market. Not just in this instance but in others.
