Hey hey,
I know some are just confused so I made this list to help start getting a bearing in the story, if one want to jump in somewhere.
What I think has happened is the following:
1. A senate debate happened where Gen proclaimed herself dictator of the republic.
2. A clone army was activated to do her bidding.
3. Gen proclaimed that all companies inside rep borders would fall under government control.
4. Chazwa is put under Gen but is quickly attacked by a coalition of TU/OS. That skirmish can be found here. LINK
5. Companies unite and act to oppose Gens orders.
6. Organa gathers the Republic and call for a united front here. LINK
7. The Mandos decide to invade the Republic world of Roche. Sign up here
8. The jedi order with [member="Corvus Raaf"] in charge takes action. Corvus sneaks into Gens office together with Organa. This is a private thread though, so read and enjoy but the wish of Gen to have it this way is something to respect. LINK[
9. A corporate attack to find a way to neutralize the clone chips is launched. LINK
10. A few companies are in Roche and organizing defence and negoriate with the Verpine to solidify their hold on the system. In short, digging trenches for the expected future conflict. LINK.
11. Republic officials and military goes to Roche to secure Republic interests as well as safe guard legal companies business interests. LINK
12. Republic forces attack theSpartii HQ, believed to be behind the usurpers clone army. It is done in the same thread as above point #9. LINK
13. The clone army of Gen marches at the jedi enclave on Chazwa declaring them eneies of the state. Its a skirmish meant to take place at the beginning of the plot but the plot got derailed so its not presented until know. Feel free to join. GR loyal to the senate can help defend the Enclave alongside any jedi. LINK
14. Gens clone army starts to show signs that it no longer recognize Gen as its commander in chief. LINK
Now, what is missing?
I would suggest a senate meeting to in panic try to make amend to the companies, offering compensation for any losses for Gens move.
It is slso totally free to start your own threads in all of this. Feel free to promote your own threads in here. If you tag me in I can set up a list with the active threads.
I would also suggest a change in the power structure on the rep top.
In order to avoid that one person again grabs all power the "supreme chancellor" is reinstated as the head of state, but the PM is second in charge and is the direct minister of state. This I think is a good ooc move.
Any thoughts, missing stuff?
A word about the red dawn plot. I made some effort in stopping or at least slowing things down.
I did this because the red dawn authors were (and still are?) being squashed in the middle of things.
I have no special right to the story and am not acting on it as mine. But there were issues that I think should be addressed.
I did so but it lead to no progress.
I know you as member base have different opinions about this. I have received pms with folk being happy that I spoke up while others think it is a mistake and want me to stay more silent. All good and reasonable thoughts!
But, now its time to move forward.
I doubt anyone has a complete bird view on this but perhaps we can help each other out to see if there is something more we can do with this plot. One thing is for sure, this is no longer a GR plot but events that all of chaos want to be part of. But, whatever is said the GR is central to it all and we should try to make the best of it.
