Alright ladies and gents of the One Sith top brass, we gotta hash out a real alliance treaty with these fine, outlawed boys and girls. I'm under the impression, with views from both sides, that tell me that us and the crimson birdies are gonna be the best of friends in this upcoming war against the Republic and Mandalorians.

Please correct me if I'm wrong in this assumption that we'll be an official alliance.

So, that'll require an IC thread to get these details in fine print and establish official relations with them. Since my character has IC history with them as do several others such as [member="Reverance"], it'd be plausible for such Sith to be present at the meeting.

I can start the thread if necessary and I've spoken to the Red Ravens' command structure as well. They enjoy the idea of an alliance and fully welcome cooperation between both factions.

Black Sun Syndicate has become an inactive faction and in that respect, their alliance is nothing more than a block to a rising, established and powerful new friend in the Red Ravens. I already have established connections with the RR and I would advise creating an alliance with them.

I don't really like them, if they want to fight the Republic I say let them and we can use them but allies big allies no. They bring little to the table aside from being generally argumentative

I don't know enough about the subject to comment, but I would like to learn. I will do a little research into this proposal first. [member="Darth Vornskr"], are your reasons listed publicly somewhere? I'd like to get a feel for both sides of the proposal.

My reasons are that I had already connected another faction to this one through various IC encounters, that faction being the Black Sun, and the Red Ravens are directly opposed and are in conflict with them. Thus, you can see my adversity to allying with the RR. However, if the RR would cease hostilities with the Black Sun, then I would not be so adverse to us allying with them, but as it stands I don't see that changing.

The Red Ravens have OOCly contacted me and wanted me to inform you that they are more than willing to cease hostilities with the Black Suns immediately. Their IC reasoning is that they have little more to gain from a seemingly dying underworld empire and could better use their resources to further new pursuits such as supporting the One Sith war effort.

However; I am thrilled that the Red Ravens are willing to cease hostilities, and I would now welcome a union between the OS and the RR with open arms.

There's two sides to the coin. The Black Sun Syndicate came across as very argumentative simply due to the fact that there were so many writers on the Red Ravens side, which were contributing to the fall of Barab I.

The RR also have a lot of new writers which, from an entirely OOC perspective, is a very good thing. New writers can be brought into our ranks with new characters, thus growing the OS alongside the RR and their already established characters.

Everyone knows what it is like to be new to the roleplaying community, especially as it is your first; and to be honest with everyone, the Black Sun's behavior during the Barab I invasion, on a purely OOC perspective, was nothing short than weak.
