  • Powerful, with a low Hyper drive class, above average defenses, and the ability to house a squadron the Redundance class corvette is a formidable match
Weaknesses: (Provide, in list format, a minimum of 1 weaknesses of this submission.)
  • Defenses: Its high attack power comes at a cost. The ship has just over half the norm for defenses
  • Poor Maneuverability: Another downside to the high armament is that the added mass makes the ship slower and less maneuverable in real-space.
Description: The Redundance class was created to provide the Raxian Empire, then a new born group, with a ship capable pf fighting battles in small groups if backed up correctly. At 50 meters tall at the highest point, the ship is considerably different from most corvettes. At a hyperdrive count of 1.5, it can beat some ships to where they wanted to go, allowing it to also perform as a patrol ship.

Ok so this would fall under the carrier corvette example and for that this has far to high armament and defense and too low speed and maneuvering without something to balance it all out. To have a squadron in a vessel this size you have to give up firepower and defense normally.

So I get you want the defense low to make the armament high and you want a squadrons so what you can do is flip the 2. also this is not full size so it will have a bit of a deduction

I would make this 200 meters so there is no limitations on it, Keep the squadron, make the speed 9 and maneuvering 11 and list poor maneuvering as a weakness. Adding weapons creates mass which makes it harder for a ship thrusters to counter its momentum. make the armament 12 and defense 4

The poor maneuvering will balance the increased armament as will switching the examples defense and armament rating. This gives you a hard hitting pocket carrier which I feel is what your going for.
