    Reep had never known his family, or if they had even existed. His earliest of memories had always been on Kamino, and he knew better than to dare inquire about his origins, where he came from or whether he was a clone. He had watched many ships come and go with fascination, caught the occasional glimpse of other species besides the usual Kaminoans and the handful of other servants he had met who seemed to have come from other places, but he was painfully ignorant to the state of the Galaxy, not by choice, but because his owner, Nora Lo, had never felt it was anything he needed to know.
    
    Nora was cold, however she couldn’t be bothered to cause Reep too much issue. In spite of this, Reep respected her, having no mother of his own and recalling that she was the one that commissioned her older Blue Eyed cousin, an engineer named Odon Wa, to design a custom collar for Reep that would allow him to speak and breathe more comfortably. Deep down he had hoped that one day, he would be able to accomplish something great and earn her respect in return. He had held on to the belief, through much of his childhood, that one day the Kamino population would come to be more appreciative of other races as they had eventually released their grip on their own blue eyed population.
    
    However, as he grew out of his teenage years, it began to become apparent to him that the Kaminoan race had simply been patting themselves on the back for years of Selective Breeding. Most now believed that Blue Eyed Kaminoans had improved enough to be given a more substantial role in the community, and opted to take on servants and slaves that were not Kaminoan, under the belief that their own race was above that sort of work.
    
    Reep still held on to some semblance of hope, though. He had to. And now that Nora Lo was pregnant, a rare privilege for a Kaminoan, she had displayed some semblance of approval towards Reep’s efforts as her servant. So much so, that she had asked Reep to run an important errand for her that she would no longer be able to do on account of her pregnancy. Most Kaminoans had given up on the Pilgrimage to the sunken city of Derem many years ago, however Nora was an exception, and had held a soft spot for tradition.
    
    Reep was to make the long swim in her stead, and was told to place a piece of her jewelry at an altar just outside the city reefs, and contemplate existence, telling her of the experience when he came back. He would make the Pilgrimage, however it would prove to be a very different journey than he expected.

  Reep values having a certain elegance to his appearance, as he has spent most of his early life wearing fine Servant Robes crafted by Kaminoan tailors. Having well dressed and well mannered servants is considered a display of class in Kamino, and as such, Reep was taught how to look and behave presentable, often wearing white, walking with an elegant, weightless-looking gait, and learning to walk upright despite having a natural slouch during most of his childhood. Reep also has distinct scattered black spots dotted along his back, atop his head and along his ear stones.
