STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Strengths:
Tech Savant - Can understand the workings of, and assemble/disassemble most any computer oriented system with a high degree of success.
Binary Lingual - While not great at understanding the various languages of the galaxy, he is proficient in writing and understanding computer code as a programmer almost as if it were a second native tongue.
Ambidextrous - Proficient with common practice items and weapons in either hand independently.
School of Hard Knocks - He knows how to throw a punch in a dust up and often prefers to scrap, rather than escalating to firearms or blasters.
Weaknesses:
Obsessive Compulsive - Needs to have everything in perfect order with absolute precision.
Motor Mouth - Tends to let his mouth punch above his weight class when threatened.
Rash Behavior - Occasionally becomes impatient with tense situations and leans toward action rather than sitting around talking about a given problem.
Masochist - Reeve leans toward personal physical punishment seen by way of fighting battles he knows he can’t win, when he feels he has failed at an important task.
Alter Ego - When faced with exceptionally dangerous situations, Reeve’s mind changes to the perspective of a survival persona others have come to call “Naast”. In those situations, he shifts from tech savvy hot-head, to full out soldier who utilizes scorched-earth tactics without thought to consequences.
APPEARANCE:
Reeve is usually seen wearing his clan armor on most occasions. When his helmet is off, he typically has his hair trimmed short and pulled up into a small mohawk. He isn’t a body builder by any definition of the word, but due to his time fighting, he has developed a very lean muscled structure to his body. Not the tallest, not the strongest, but definitely fit.
When he obtained his set of Beskar’gam, Reeve immediately painted the kit black with silver accents around the individual plates. All except his helmet followed this pattern. In honor of his biological family, Reeve painted streaks of red from the edges of the T-visor, depicting the visage of a warrior crying tears of blood.
His standard kit consists of a small, modified jetpack, a set of blaster pistols and a custom computer rig on his left gauntlet he uses for slicing.
BIOGRAPHY:
Reeve Bralor was born Reeve Denaris, on the planet Nar Shaddaa. There are those who are born to greatness, and there are others who have greatness thrust upon them. Reeve Denaris belonged to neither group. He was part of the majority who had to find greatness in a pile of trash, and made the decision to turn it to his favor.
His upbringing was not a happy one. His father was a decent and honest man trying to provide for his fledgling family. As most stories go, a decent and honest man had no place on a planet like Nar Shaddaa. He was killed early in Reeve’s life and left him and his mother alone in a cutthroat environment. His mother remarried a year after his father’s death, hoping for some kind of stability to their lives. This was not to be the case however.
Reeve’s new stepfather was employed as security for one of the local cartels, and embodied every ill conceived notion one would expect that such a position entailed. He was rough, and abusive, and he eventually forced a spice addiction on Reeve’s mother, making her dependent on his good graces.
Needless to say, Reeve spent most of his childhood in an abusive situation, and found solace only in those moments when he was alone. He spent little time at home and for years, passed his time scavenging old computers from garbage bins, taking them apart to see how they worked. Eventually this became a hobby, and the hobby became an obsession. After a few years, Reeve was building his own computer systems out of scrap.
One wouldn’t usually find stoicism in a slum on Nar Shaddaa, but Reeve was likely an exception to this. Instead of letting his spirit get crushed by his stepfather and his living circumstances, young Reeve found a second outlet in unsanctioned street fights. He became a junior member of an underground fighting racket called “The Pit”. He had to learn through a staggering amount of losses, how to properly defend himself. But fate might have taken a liking to Reeve Denaris, because it was only through fighting in The Pit, that he came into contact with a group of warriors knit together like a family. It was only after one particular thrashing in the ring, that Reeve noticed one such warrior struggling with a broken comlink. The bleeding and bruised teenage boy offered to repair the device, as it was obvious to him what the problem was.
Impressed with the efficient work of the repair, the warrior offered to pay Reeve. But instead of accepting credits as compensation, Reeve asked the warrior to teach him a move he’d seen in the ring. Reeve then won his next match, using the very move the warrior had shown him.
The following week, the warrior came to the pit with a damaged datapad, this time seeking Reeve out personally. The deal was made again. The datapad was fixed and a new move or trick was taught.
Credits started flowing into Reeve’s pockets from The Pit. Enough to allow him to purchase some better computer equipment for his stash. In the weeks that followed, Reeve wrote a rudimentary interactive program he named Ziggy. At 17 years old, Ziggy was Reeve’s first friend.
Weeks passed, and the repair jobs grew in size and frequency. The warrior with whom Reeve most often had contact with, seemed to take a liking to the boy, and put business away immediately when he noticed the black eye and bruises Reeve arrived to the Pit with, having had no matches so far. A little prodding produced the explanation that the bruises were from Reeve’s stepfather. Earlier that week, his mother had finally succumbed to her addiction and overdosed, dying before help could be brought to bare. Reeve attacked his stepfather in a rage, and lost badly.
He was effectively without a family, and likely served a death sentence the moment his mother was no longer in the picture. But it was only then, that Reeve discovered what his warrior companion really was.
A Mandalorian.
Whether from mercy, or not wanting to see the talents the young man held go to waste, Reeve was offered a choice. Join the Mandalorian family and get off Nar Shaddaa, or stay and take his chances.
Yearning for nothing more than a family, Reeve readily agreed.
But not before taking revenge on his would be stepfather….
