October stood on the sands of Kashyyyk, his grey eyes peering out at the ocean. He had abandoned his shoes by a nearby tree, among with his coat. His hat sat nicely on his head. The eight year old boy felt a gust of wind on his face. It was different being alone...at the same time nothing changed. The same blank emotion that has been on October's face since ever....was still present, the dried blood of his mother still on his face.
The whitewash touched his feet, wetting the base of his pants. The cold water caused his to flinch a little, but then like a flash his face went back to being blank.
The boy crouched down and touched the water. He began to grasp at it.
"I cannot hold you for long, yet you can hold me forever." The boy flatly said as he pulled his hand out of the water and watched as his reflection became clear. He looked at his own reflection.
"October." He whispered
He stood up and gazed back to the ocean. He had been looking for someone, he didn't know who....but Kashyyyk was the place to wait.
He looked from the ocean to the sky, as the sun rose above the horizon. Waiting.
"He's coming..." The boy said as he stood gazing
