For hundreds of years, this massive structure had simply rested in disrepair, too big to convert into scrap, yet too expensive to be of use to most anyone. But today would be the day that the project, a massive undertaking of tremendous proportions, would begin - to restore the shipyards to functional status. The technology utilized within it, however, was likely out of date, and a lot of work would need to be put into it before it was functional - but the effort needed would likely be less than constructing an entirely new facility.
