- Power of the Force: By way of a specialized application of Mechu-deru, this cannon now feeds off the Force itself, making it truly untouchable in the way of ship-based weaponry.
- Immense Destructive Power: Described as having the firing power of two Destructor Beams and empowered by the Dark Side itself, the “False Gods” Cannon can inflict terrible damage upon enemy ships, particularly capital ships or fellow dreadnoughts and space stations. If used at the right moment, even fellow dreadnoughts can be scythed in half with on shot from the weapon and turn the tide of battle. While not designed to target vessels smaller than the aforementioned, should they be caught in the destructive beam, they can be annihilated and reduced to cosmic dust in mere seconds. The weapon’s full power can also be used to annihilate entire cities and even continents, although the latter application requires considerably more energy and at greater risk of the Vodvtaki itself.
- Sith Energy: In the event that there are no sacrifices on board the ship to provide their stolen life energy to the weapon, or the situation is perhaps too dire to perform the ritual required, the present Sith can provide their own rapidly delivered power to prime the weapon for firing. While the weapon is primed to its minimal levels quicker and can thus fire more at a higher rate, the resulting damage is considerably less due to the lack of overall Dark Side Energy expended to charge the weapon and is more fitting for Star Destroyers or Cruisers at most. Some of the Sith aboard the Vodvtaki have written that this may be some indication that the ritual is not only symbiotic with, but is also desired by the weapon.
- EMP/ION Resistant: As it is a weapon of the Force, the "False Gods" has a unique resistance to weaponry that can otherwise shut down electronics and mechanical equipment. This means that even if the rest of the ship is disabled by such weaponry, the "False Gods" can remain at the very least minimally operational.
- Ammunition Limitation: Utilizing the power of the Force, the weapon is highly limited in its ammunition potential. Only the power of sacrifices or Sith strong/skilled enough in their powers can provide the energy needed to fire this weapon, severely limiting its applications in battle.
- Rate of Fire: Perhaps the slowest laser weapon in all of the galaxy, the process of even charging this destructive monster takes almost fifteen minutes on average due to the advanced ritual required. This means that unless there are more sacrifices lined up to be used in this ritual, or the Sith onboard the vessel cannot provide their own power, the weapon will only be able to fire once or twice, depending on how much excess was given in the ritual.
- Sith Power: It has been noted that the charging sequence of the weapon is quicker with explicit Sith power, but still takes a long period of time for a ship-based weapon, roughly seven minutes on average, which naturally can exhaust the present Sith very quickly.
- Risk Catastrophic Failure: Should the ritual needed to fire this weapon be interrupted, it can result in a complete shutdown and even perhaps destroy the weapon and/or ship entirely.
- Prime Target: As it is, by appearance and function, a combination of a Sith Temple and a beam cannon, the “False Gods” is almost always the prime target for enemy fleets, meaning that the ship must play more defensively whenever it is engaged in a large scale battle.
- Shields: As with any ship-based laser weapon, high quality shields can protect an intended target, most commonly larger vessels, from this powerful weapon and render its usage in that given battle obsolete.
Designed to be unlike any other weapon in the Galaxy, the Regency-class “False Gods” Cannon is, essentially, a Force Blaster in the most literal sense. By entrapping and processing the sacrificial energy of the ritual needed to charge it, the cannon is capable of unleashing a massive semi-tangible beam of pure Force lasers unto the enemy. This beam acts, seemingly, like a combination of the electrical current of Force Lightning with the utter annihilating impact of Force Destruction and is capable of rendering even fellow Dreadnought-class starships as little more than space debris. On any ship, such a destructive force would indeed be a game changer, but on the Vodvtaki of Kascalion Giedfield, it is more than that. It is a game ender.
