History
Born as a Sith Pure Blood, to a Sith father but an unknown mother. Her real mother being unknown, but the mother who raised her was an Atrisian, having taught her all about the Atrisian culture. While her father did the same, teaching her all about the Sith culture. Her father was the leader of Clan Mustra, the very clan and family she was born into, and destined to take the seat as head once her father was no longer the head. Being a Sith, she had a long life span, but realistically, this was more of an opportunity for her father, than an opportunity at life for Amali. It was always expected for her to lead soldiers of Clan Mustra into battles and other clan feuds, although unlikely contending in faction warfare. She was raised as a weapon, instead of a daughter, as the father never expected to die, nor even prepared for his untimely demise. As a wealthy clan, albeit small, her father had a harem and many consorts, but none being legitimate to the throne, which meant he probably should have sought for another heir if his plan was to utilize his first born daughter as nothing more than a blade to swing at his enemies.
From the time she could walk, she was put into combat with children and skilled fighters to teach her how to fight. It wasn't expected for her to be the general of her fathers armies, but he wanted her tactical skill and ability high enough to at the very least, perhaps, be second in command of the soldiers. Ignoring that her father was the sole leader of the clan and controlled every soldier, he still had something akin to a general. So perhaps she should have become something of a commander. Initially she was solely trained in hand to hand combat, so she could effectively fight without any weapons. Correction, she would become the weapon, and she would have to wield herself. She would later effectively become more dangerous than a squad of armored soldiers with blaster rifles, so when her father walked in the room with her, everyone would feel threatened. However, hand-to-hand combat wasn't as effective when it came to heavy soldiers, droids, and the occasional hovertank. So she was also taught how to use a weapon her father won as a war trophy, one to cut through metal like a Jedi's lightsaber. While she never became an expert in her abilities before her training ended, she became dangerous.
And that training only recently ended, when her father decided he wanted more, becoming greedy and combating other local gangs and pirate groups for territory. A battle ensued where it cost the life of both of her parents, and very nearly her own life, had it not been for the crew sealing a hullbreech. An explosion impacted the family's ships bridge, where her father and mother were 'enjoying the scenery' of the battle, believing they were invincible. By some miracle, her father chose - at the last moment - to be a father, though she never saw him as anything less. Ignoring the crew, and his wife, he shielded his daughter from the blast. While part of the crew on the bridge died along with her father and mother, she suffered damage that could not be healed. She lost her eyes, her arms and legs. Some of her body was injured as well, though it was mostly broken bones which left her in a coma for months as her body tried to heal. Waking up to becoming an amputee, and the new queen of the clan, was extremely overwhelming for her. But now she has to contend with the loss of her parents and reviving a dying clan.
