RC 212
HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPO!
Location: Chazwa
The command center was abuzz with chatter over the comms. Rc had been working days and nights around the clock, monitoring the situation in the Operations Center. Chazwa was expected to be the next site of major importance. For weeks they had been setting up Golan III defensive platforms around her, and installing a planetary shield.
But there was many, many problems.
"How many more workers have gone missing?" RC asked, crossing his arms as he read the holoreports on the projector.
"About a hundred sir."
RC's eyebrow shot up.
"You realize the Republic Senate is coming to view this project Lt.? You think they'll be particularly happy that bodies keep disappearing off our sites?"
"Not really sir, no."
"Good then shut the kark up and keep it to yourself. Alert the Jedi and GRIM operatives. Senators should have all security details when they arrive. Have any intel spooks start looking into the missing persons. Also have them take a look at those fuel depot explosions."
RC ran his fingers through the map, pulling up a cluster of dots. Waypoint markers.
"These patterns aren’t coincidence, we have some one, or some peoples here sabotaging our efforts."
"Aye Sir, sending out alerts to proper channels."
"Keep me posted."
The Commandos were ready to move and reinforce any part of the project. The problem was drawing the enemy out, which was partly why RC had invited the Senate. Bait. Plus he wanted them to see how Republic tax credits were being used.
With a grunt RC closed the holoprojector and went back to his little office. Time to check the holomail and do that paperwork, which he hated.
