DESCRIPTION
A Rekalikad ('kad' meaning 'dagger' in Mandalorian) is an elite folding knife meant to commemorate personal achievements for Clan Rekali members and close allies.
Clan Rekali is a sprawling, syncretic amalgamation of Mandalorian, Vahla, and Dathomiri traditions, languages, and bloodlines. The Rekalis controlled much of the Gordian Reach and retreated into the Roil when Sith took over the sector. For decades, most of the Rekalis have remained encysted and undisturbed in the systems and stations of their small, inaccessible, unbelievably lethal nebula.
These knives have been manufactured for over six decades with some variations in design (e.g. the compound grind, the blade profile, or the grip texture). They are most commonly found in the Gordian Reach systems, such as Yavin, but have percolated through many circles and allegiances. Among collectors, they have a reputation as some of the finest folding knives to be found anywhere.

These knives have been in circulation for half a century, so anyone might have them whether or not they personally got (or took) them from a Rekali. (For clarity, I have no problem with anyone saying they got theirs by killing an unnamed Rekali.)
