(+) Determined - Relk is determined to find ultimate wealth and power. He will do whatever it takes to get here, and this can empower him to victory.

(+) Tinkering - Relk has always had in interests in things like design, forging, and engineering. Through this he can create things for himself, often saving him loads of credits.

(-) Arrogance - His determination can also lead to arrogance. He doesn't always think things through, and will follow an unguided plan to power, which can lead to sticky situations.

(-) Disloyal - Relk's craving for power and wealth can lead to him doing anything for it, including betraying someone.

APPEARANCE:
Relk has red tatoos of strips on his face, as well as his hair tied back tightly into a bun on the back of his head.

BIOGRAPHY:

Relk was born on Tatooine, in Mos Eisley with his uncle as his guardian. His uncle told him that his parents died in a riot, but knowing his uncle, it was probably a lie just like everything else he says. Relk grew up around crime, filth, and abuse.

His uncle was typically neglecting of him, and when he wasn't he was using Relk to help him in his crimes. His uncle would deal in things like smuggling and the spice trade around the area. Although his uncle was a man of scum, he was quite the good shipwright, often drafting very good plans that would never be executed. During an inspection being done on all homes in Mos Eisley by Galactic Empire troops, his ship plans were found. They were brought to the overseer of the inspections, and his uncle was eventually recruited into the Empire to help design and build ships.

Relk, who has had to deal with harassment and abuse from the Empire his whole life in Mos Eisley, begged his uncle to not take up such a job. His uncle, desperate to finally be wealthy, denied Relk and accepted the job. His uncle abandoned Relk in Mos Eisley alone to go work for the Empire at the age of 19. Here, Relk realized the importance of power and wealth to those of the galaxy.

Here, he decided he must follow the same path, and strive for only power. He had to survive on his own now, and defend himself. Relk made decent income through the small weapons and tools he could make with his engineering skills, but it was just barely enough. One day, a crime lord was taking hostages in order to get a ransom from the Empire. He took Relk. When the Empire denied to pay the ransom, he started gunning down hostages, until it got to Relk. Relk closed his eyes and concentrated on his life, realizing it was about to be over. He heard the blaster fire behind him, but he was not hit. When he opened his eyes and turned around, the crime lord was dead and everyone in the area was astonished.

He got up, and ran off as quick as he could. Someone chased him and caught him, informing them they were like him. Force-sensitive. They taught him what a Sith was, but Relk denied this. He sought only power, not organization. He became a Dark Jedi.
