Remember the icons?

When we writers think of Star Wars, a few notable figures come to mind. And, through our adventures here on Chaos, some of us strive to carry on their legacies through obtaining a literal part of them. We embark on quests to obtain lost lightsabers or teachings - thereby bringing their legend back to 851 ABY.

But what about our icons?

With each passing year, new players enter the board with no knowledge of the legends we have written. For example, most of us tremble in awe of the name Ashin Varanin - but a new player has no clue who this icon is. So, what I'd like to do is carry on the legends we've made today. We all have lightsabers or holocrons or ships or whatever tied to iconic characters, so how's about we release them to the Galaxy? How's about we write up the stories of our artifacts and quest for Kaine Zambrano's first lightsaber or Darron Wraith's Holocron?

• Currently Unclaimed
• A series of Holocrons that teach various aspects of the Matukai, can be found anywhere, as a nomadic sect of the force, they are open to anyone who can prove themselves worthy of using them.

W E A P O N S​

Tal'galar, Saberstaff of Isley Verd

• Last seen on Krant
• Currently Unclaimed
• Beskar-plated saberstaff. This was the first lightsaber of Isley Verd, created prior to his claiming the name Darth Metus. It served him well during the era of the first Confederacy and was his weapon of choice during his campaigns within Hutt Space. Tal'galar was lost during his departure from the first Confederacy and is rumored to reside on Krant, within current Galactic Empire territory.

Wing of Storms

• Last seen in Mandalorian Space
• Currently Unclaimed
• Heavy blaster pistol. Created by Zephyr Carrick to be a heavy weapon, it was rarely used, but still powerful.

Kyro Thaniton, Sith Sword of Atheus

• Last seen on Hora
• Currently Unclaimed
• Sith Sword that gives off a freezing area of affect "nexus". It was created and crafted by the student of Alchemist Nickolas Imura, Atheus. However, after seeing some use in battle, Atheus replaced it, and thus left it upon the planet of Hora. Leaving the past behind, as well as the sword.

Guardian of Light Beskar'gam

• Last seen in Mandalorian Space
• Currently Unclaimed
• A set of Mandalorian armor that uses event level metals. Impervious to blaster fire, and stupid high resistances to lightsabers. Created and recrafted by Xander Carrick as a Set of mandalorian armor upon his fathers heritage as a Mandalorian Knight. Thus finding a metal that is even more powerful than Beskar, it is used as a symbol of hope for the family, and has been lost to time.

Fallen Angel

• Last seen on Arkania
• Currently Unclaimed
• A set of armor created by Nickolas Imura for his use during his time with the Primeval and the One Sith. Crafted with various scales and hides, the armor can be infused with the force, or adapted to suit another wearer.

Brief Description & Lore Synopsis: Created thousands of years ago by two master alchemists, the staff moderately enhances the wielder's ability to use force light. It calms those within its immediate vicinity and is impervious to harm from lightsabers, although it isn't meant to be used entirely as a melee weapon. Its purpose was to combat the dark side of the force.

Brief Description & Lore Synopsis: Created by Braith Achlys as the greatest form of protection for the former Jedi Grandmaster, Corvus Raaf, this necklace siphons ambient dark side energies and converts it into raw force energy to power an instinctively activated protection bubble. This bubble consumes all of the stored energy at once and cannot be activated in any way except on instinct.
Currently Owned By: None, it was lost during a fight.

Brief Description & Lore Synopsis: These rings project a sense of serenity when brought close together to their wearers, but project a sense of anxiety and prompt psychosis and suicidal tendencies when separated for extended periods of time across vast distances.
Currently Owned By: None. One was abandoned by Braith on Sabarene, the other by Corvus (wherever she went).

Last Known/Current Location: Traded to Ashin Varanin over a decade ago, since initial trade one of my character's spoke with Ashin of the saber who in turn said it was kept safe.
Brief Description & Lore Synopsis: See Green Lantern Ring. During a time where everything I made, or did, on board was toward making the most unstoppable warrior, this weapon was born. The Longsaber is long by any means, burns as hot as expected, cuts like it should, and the shadows... Yup. Upon activation, the plasma thrums with Darkside energy that billows out like smoke, which upon concentration will take shape to the desired image. With practice the images can even be further manipulated, such as made physically solid.

Brief Description & Lore Synopsis: Holds the record for the most dev threads ever put into a lightsaber submission with absolutely no Restricted Materials involved. Wielded by the original padawan menace of the Galactic Republic, Riptide saw use in the Battle of the Roche Asteroids and the Omega Event. During the time he served the Jedi, multiple individuals opined that Zak might have been one of the best swordsmen in the Jedi Order. Zak Dymo led a Silver Jedi mission to Hast in 848 ABY, but his team was not heard from afterward.
